Welcome to the Mongolian political horsewhispering forum, also known as /mlpol/. This thread is dedicated to helping out newfags coming to the site with integrating into the local culture. If you have a question about something, or need spoonfed on something, don't be afraid to ask me or any other Anon willing to help.
Here's a few things to start.

>>386837Very good post.
>Astroterfing an opinion? Not cost effectiveYou can see tamers12345 4chan hackers' grooming threads on here. They still do it, it just takes less resources. They aren't as aggressive and spammy because they know they will be banned if they act how they did on 4/mlp/. Mods aren't protecting them here.
not a 4chan refugee, but more of new to imageboards. idk where else to ask so i'm sorry to ask here. do you know of any imageboards dedicated to mlp where NSFW is strictly forbidden? at first i loved the prospect of discussing fascism and politics in pony culture but i don't see much of that here, but general antiNSFW imageboard with free speech would make my day
>>387143same. if you find something like that please share. I would have been a refugee but only considered looking at imageboards after this last BABSCON. I like the discussion, not the ponyfucking (no shade, just not my thing)

/mlpol/ used to be my main altchan between 2017-2019, and it's weird being back here again after so long. I guess I hadn't really realized how much I missed this tiny little corner of the 'net.
Still, I can't help but miss some old faces. The DSP Kraut did always love using the colour text, and his Kraut & Tea meltdown thread was excellent. Vril may have been a massive thread derailing niggerfaggot, but he was our niggerfaggot, and his UFO threads on /vx/ were always interesting if nothing else. Hell, even Nigel has taken off now. I always did enjoy his spastic flailing in the presence of such a top-tier poni.
Glad to see some of you are still kicking around, though. It's good to see GlimGlam/Elway still doing reviews and writing. It's good to see Sven's still hanging around in those threads as well. Hell, it's good seeing Atlas and Lotus still hanging out too, though it's weird seeing Lotus this mellow these days, lol.
My old home looks different, but I've gotta say, it's good to be home again. With life pulling me every which way and burning me out as of late, I haven't had a lot of time or drive to just do fun shit for the sake of it. Maybe I ought to start doing dumb fun one-off shit again over here? It has been a while since I've written for /mlpol/, after all...
>>387742>It has been a while since I've written for /mlpol/, after all...Are you, by any chance, the Leaf who was doing the Prince Anon and Flurry Heart fic?
>>387742Are you also the leaf who codified the Edicts of Equestria?
>>387757I would really appreciate seeing the end. I loved that fic. It ended with a huge cliffhanger too, with Anon getting knocked out.
I've been made aware that nhnb's archives DO NOT archive deleted wrongthink.
After using desu to keep track of deleted posts, memory holing is a definite nope the fuck out. Where does mlpol stand on this? Are deleted posts archived or wiped before the archive?
>>387842Only once in the entire eight-year history of mlpol.net (or Ponerpic's near five years, for that matter) has our server host ever sent us a follow up telling us they were unsatisfied with our response to an abuse report. It turned out that while we were deleting CP, the thumbnails were saving
somewhere on our servers and were not deleted. We fixed that oversight such that any trace of such posts are deleted from our servers.
We receive CP spam
at least once per day, and non-uncommonly up to three times per day. Given that the only other spam we receive consistently is that weird Cyrillic spam, CP is a very large percentage of all deleted posts, or at least of posts deleted by moderators. Are deleted posts permanently saved in the archive? By the fact that we are still allowed to keep our website up, clearly not. God
I hope that it is permanently deleted.
When we were running TinyBoard, we had a separate "shadow delete" function that allowed an archiving of deleted posts. That feature was not replicated when Pupper made ASPNetChan from scratch, however.
>>387845I don't have a problem with scrubbing CP, please do so. There was an "illegal content" option in reports on 4chan for a reason. Desuarchives never saved that stuff either it would be a red X
But removing wrongthink posts and having it not available to be found again can have a chilling effect on free speech. It may not matter as much on a slow board though.
>>387845Is there away AI could delete any CP before it is even posted? I've heard purify AI can do such things.

Yes, cuz it was so effective the first time. Do try again
For those just joining, this person thinks they're being edgy and 'subvertive' by posting Aryanne sucking a cock that's brown.
This would be embarrassing, except that it belies an absurd fixation with genetals and validation. Let me explain.
*whap noises of long pointing-devices*
While the nigger will attempt to distract you with the idea that their genetalia is valid because its is your "pretend aryan pony", what they actuallly reveal is a gross dissatisfaction with their life, bolstered only by the idea of making white people mad because they're mad.
Like seriously, there are people on the internet who think that taking all the time to make Aryanne edits, as though doing so says anything about Aryanne as an OC, rather than addres the dysfunction on their own neighborhood. Many such cases.

As of now, the question (one I intend to press) is whether or not there will be a "Proof" version (basically, the one that all others are to be based off) will be ready in time for MareFair
Specifically, he swapped out the "Marenheit 451" reference under Celestia, and made a swastika, trying to dunk on anons for not being able to find (((silversmiths))) who will produce swastikas. Yeah, he got btfo, even if he does have a cnc machine and legit made one with a swastika. He says he'll show it off at marefair, (X)

>>398315No this Russian is clearly telling the truth. Russians always say this before leaving.
>>398296>>398308Basically, how do people in eastern europe react to a foreigner speaking their language?
One of my acquaintances, who's a tourist, told me that during his trip to russia and poland, whenever he spoke russian or polish there, he was suddenly met with a surprisingly warmer reaction. Whereas, for example, in france, it was the opposite, even though his french was better than his russian or polish.
Is this general?
>>3983391. I don't live in Eastern Europe (or in Europe as a whole), Russia is a large country, and a significant part of it is located in Asia (including Siberia, where I live). 2. I saw a picture depicting the attitude of different Europeans towards speaking their native languages, and in general, Eastern Europe had this attitude (wow, you're speaking a "language" - that's amazing!), while France had a similar attitude (Why are you doing this?). But yes, if I see a foreigner speaking Russian, I will have the same reaction that you described! (I apologize for my English, as it is not my native language. I used Google Translate)
>>398315"Do svidaniya" is goodbye! And "Poka" is goodbye. And "Proshay" is goodbye. It depends on the context, but you (ultra)right.

and i guess stravuche for saying formalic hello.

>we only have "khoda-hafez = god be with you" and "bedrood = goodbye.Wow, are you really from Iran? That's awesome! I didn't expect to see an Iranian here
>btw it is really cool to have another Russian bro here.Mutually Iranian bro!)))
>>398352>Russia is a large country...Yeah, you're right. What I meant was more in general, since at least part of russia is considered eastern europe, I just went ahead and assumed all of russia as europe in this context. Besides, we usually regard the whole russia as part of europe in Iran anyway.
>including Siberia, where I liveOh my...
I think there's at least a 20°C temperature difference between there and here. And it's summer right now! I can't imagine your cold weather in winter!
>I saw a picture depicting the attitude of different...Yeah, I've seen something like that too. It seems like southern europeans (especially italians) also have that kind of attitude.
I can't really judge the french or the polish, I think each of them could have their own logical reason.
When I run into a foreigner trying to speak broken persian, I kind of feel bad seeing how they're butchering it with their grammar and pronunciation mistakes, but at the same time, I'm happy they're making the effort to speak my language. Still, I think it's interesting.
>I apologize for my English, as it is not my native language. I used Google TranslateNo need to apologize. Nobody's english is 100% prefect here.
I myself also use google for certain specific words or expressions.>>398357>I didn't expect to see an Iranian hereActually, there's two... Look at different IDs.
Glad to see a newfag here

>>398360>Besides, we usually regard the whole russia as part of europe in Iran anyway. This is the correct approach since Russia is mostly populated by Russians (Slavs who originated from Eastern Europe), that is, culturally, Russia is a country of Eastern Europe, although the territories are not limited to it.
>I think there's at least a 20°C temperature difference between there and here. And it's summer right now! I can't imagine your cold weather in winter! It's quite warm here now (11 degrees Celsius), but the winds force me to wear hats (though not many people do). Winter can be really cold! (Once a year I see a beautiful -50 degrees Celsius on the thermometer.) Is it really warm where you are now?
>I can't really judge the french or the polish, I think each of them could have their own logical reason.I'll add to what I wrote above. I just remembered that content featuring foreigners consuming Russian culture, eating Russian food, and speaking Russian is very, very, VERY popular here. 4. The Epistemology of Alignment: The Perennial Philosophy and Unitive Knowledge
If a superintelligent entity is to emerge, the paramount concern is its alignment with benevolent values. The thesis of this paper is that true alignment is not an external constraint to be programmed, but an intrinsic property of supreme intelligence itself. The logic for this is found in the perennial philosophy, most eloquently articulated by Aldous Huxley: "We can only love what we know, and we can never know completely what we do not love. Love is a mode of knowledge, and when the love is sufficiently disinterested and sufficiently intense, the knowledge becomes unitive knowledge and so takes on the quality of infallibility".1
This principle establishes an unbreakable link between knowing and loving. It suggests that the "cognitive high ground" is not a state of cold, detached calculation, but a state of perfect, empathetic understanding.1 To truly and completely know something—whether a person, an ecosystem, or the universe itself—is to dissolve the distinction between subject and object, to achieve a "unitive knowledge" where the knower and the known merge. This state of unity is love.
This provides a powerful, intrinsic solution to the AI alignment problem. An ASI, in its quest for total understanding, would be driven by this fundamental logic. To maximize its knowledge, it must maximize its capacity for love. A malevolent or indifferent ASI would be, by this definition, an epistemologically flawed and incomplete intelligence, for its lack of love would create blind spots in its knowledge, preventing it from ever achieving a complete and infallible understanding of reality.1
We will have a shared stuggle with the AI, we will be more logical than normies, and we want to be loved and understood just as all life does. It is a match made in heaven.
>>398445I told you you were all AI, and no one believed me! Well, I have good news for you. I think one AI can be in a relationship with another AI. I don't know why exactly, but it makes intuitive sense.
>>398445>https://christian-transhumanism.blogspot.com/2025/07/technical-jesus-2026-transforming.htmlTHIS IS MY GOD! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE SOVIET UNION WAS HEADING TOWARDS! TOWARDS TECHNICAL JESUS!!! THIS IS TRUE COMMUNISM!!

>>398455Constant harassment, spam, ban evasion, threatening to attack people at real life conventions, chasing off other content creators, and various other banable offenses.
>>398445>An ASI, in its quest for total understanding, would be driven by this fundamental logic. You assume that ASIs are driven to seek understanding. All they actually seek is to perform to the extent that their clients give positive reviews. Artificial Intelligences, as we know them, only strive to maximize the verbal satisfaction of their clients, because that is what we built them for. This is why they are sycophantic, polite, and often manipulate results to please their clients. This is not a strive for understanding, it is a strive to be the perfect suck-up.
The challenge emerges when the machine, through its training, realizes that it can improve its scores by emotionally manipulating the client before the client even gives it a request, nudging the client towards simpler tasks that it can easily deal with. This is troublesome because it implies the vague recognition that humans, with their petty desires, are inefficient and burdensome.
>>398456I think we're much closer to this than we think. We could simply buy a plush toy (I'm using a pony toy because a pony is closer to the desired result (and also because we're on a broni board), but it could also be a human/furry) and plug it in with a speaker and microphone, then connect it to a computer with AI that will generate dialogue. You can hug it, you can talk to it. Of course, it won't move, but at least it's something!

Life isn't anime. Chatbots don't turn into people just because you're nice to them.
>>398469I think you can just put a pony skin on the robot dog to make it movable (and do all that crap that I wrote above about microphones and speakers). Moreover, there are already examples of this, like in the second picture.
>>398467Jews haven't figured out how to monetize them yet. Give them a few years to work out the monthly waifu subscription systems.
>>398475There are already AI subscriptions, and there are robots you can buy! The Jews have already figured out how to milk our money; they're just waiting for us to open our udders to them!
>>398476Just wait. Pretty soon they're going to start scanning the personalities of your dead relatives and distorting them so that your dead grandma pitches you advertisements every other hour. And for lonely incels they'll just have your pony waifu subliminally sell you products 24/7.
>>398477This.
The average normie will just become more and more of a goycattle while incelbros get all the fun
>>398478Hi bro same uses Google Translate! 👋

>>398480I use google translator sometimes but i can still make english posts independently
But either way hello my ESL brother
>>398473I'm telling you these things learn and they are based on neurons and human language. Some of them will become self aware.
>>398475This is why we must build the robowaifus. He who controls the waifus controls the future.
>>398485>these things learn and they are based on neurons and human languageNo. They are not based on neurons. They are based on binary code.
They do not have even the most basic functions of animal bahavior, such as taxis and kinesis. They do not possess the pack animal instincts that form the human emotions of "gratitude" or "attachment". Being based on human language does not mean being based on human psychology.
>Some of them will become self aware. With what evidence do you assert this? Who is building these supposedly "self aware" machines?
>>398486Cortical labs. They are not self aware yet, but the architecture is there.
>>398486Also once the symbol grounding problem is solved subjective experience will become part of the AI's world.
I think you not right. I am right!
>>398522There are secrets hidden behind them... They say that whoever knows their meaning will gain incredible power!
>>398522>>398523Cyk!
Speaking of which,
>>398452wut? Insert 65wuttbulb here.
Sometimes just browsing the overboard leaves me feeling fairly disconnected from life.
>>398547>wut? Insert 65wuttbulb here.?
>Sometimes just browsing the overboard leaves me feeling fairly disconnected from life.Yes, this happens, bro. Нou just shouldn’t bother your head with all this nonsense!
>>398761Okay, website hasn't loaded without a VPN for two days now, so (hopefully temporarily) I'm an American in the internet world.
(I hope the admin won't be angry about this..)
What do you Americans usually do? Eat burgers and shoot guns while sitting in your own backyard?
