I'm here out of curiousity and because I'm at a low point.
Wanted to do something and though it produced good results it just became tiring having to explain things, rework things to be more understandable and waiting for stuff to happen when intuition yelled at me that things weren't going to get better.

Back when I was on derpibooru I felt like that a lot, stuck in a hostile passive-agressive shithole where every single wrong, biggoted, snarky, petty, uncertain thing you say leads to being humiliated and forced into submission and complying. I had no real friendships in there, only hardships. And while at it, I was trying to prove myself to everyone, as if that would get me anywhere, make me whole. In reality, all I did was making an idiot out of myself, while countless times mods were coming up with creative ways to tell me to get a psychiatrist.

And this is why I took refuge by first moving to 4chan, and then switching to /mlpol/. In here you are not obligated to defend your thoughts and work hard to deliver them with grace and tact. You are accepted and free to express yourself in any way you like without fearing for an immediate backlash or ban. You can be a kike or a shill, but that's expected from you, and if you are one, other users call you out on it and everyone moves on. It doesn't happen "in private" where some mod sends you a DM and starts lecturing you like you are a damn infant. Users in here don't stick to one ideology but instead let everyone to be heard. Noone gets sillenced under pressure or wiped out from existence by mentioning something off-putting.

I am bad with words to explain it correctly but this place is like a magnet. It has a certain kike-free odor to it that makes communicating with people and opening oneself up a whole lot easier. And users here are so comfy to be around with. I just want to thank you all for making me whole again and giving a place where I can be myself and have lots of friends to talk to, that's all.

It's a slow board to be sure, but that's not altogether a bad thing. I've been right at home ever since washing up here and am able to think more deeply about some topics without worrying about some other reply coming up when I don't expect or want it to. That being said I do wish we had some of the brighter minds from mom and dad (/mlp/ and /pol/) come join us sometime. It's just attracting the ones we don't want (shills and cucks) that's kind of the hurdle to that.
