whether or not he contested is irrelevant in my honest and humble opinion, If we gave out IP's or other personal information for whatever may or may not be happening in the thread there we would be setting a precedent.

One of the things I hated most about 4chan was its lack of integrity when it came to its staff, I'd be very disappointed if someone on staff here did that. If I found out member of the staff was giving out personal information on users I'd push for his immediate removal and if that failed I'd leave the team and not look back.

But this is just my thoughts and I cannot speak for each staff member, though I hope they feel the same.

The owner of mlpol has a right to contact the person IP and make an official complaint if they are involved in anything the contravenes the IP rules. I am sure a case of harassment can be made but first you need to politely ask the person to desist on this site as it is causing you stress.
