I know the entertainer being a critic has been a tired trope recently, however there is used to be a vital portion of public figures that filled the niche of the social credit. Nowadays this has been filled by your average person on social media, in the past it was often authors or journalists of sort.

Hes seems like a libertarian/independent guy. His political views are very relatable to the individualist mind which is why he is so popular. I personally enjoy listening to him but have a hard time agreeing with much of his rhetoric.
