I guess I'll go first. I started watching the show right before New Years 2013, and fell into obsession with it pretty quickly, talking about it frequently with like-minded people at my university. When I first heard of sexualization of the show, I was in disbelief, because I didn't understand how that was even possible.

The thing that actually got me to give the show a try was some thread on /b/ that got derailed and started getting pony porn posted on it. That was back in June 2011.
