The technology to alter your personality and intelligence already exists. As of now we only use these technologies for medicinal purposes such as treating mental illness or stroke patients. Pharmaceuticals, gene editing, implants, and trans-cranial electrical stimulation techniques are all getting more advanced, and so is our understand of the brain. At some point we are going to be able to safely enhance ourselves. But should we? And if we should who should benefit from these technologies? What limitations (if any) should we place on them? Would you use them? What are your thoughts /mlpol/?

I think we should. Higher IQs are good for nation's GDP, and automation is going to put a lot of people out of work. Not everyone is smart enough to be an engineer or a scientist, but if we could make them smart enough then we should.

Any citizen who wants access to them. I believe the government should subsidize them especially for the underclasses. The elite cannot be the only ones with access to enhanced cognition.

Mixed, depends if we are unlocking our potential or changing who we are. Steroids are a good example. It just makes our biology react in a way that stimulates our bodies to become stronger. Assuming its the former the depends on the availibility. If the kikes want to hoard it to themselves I will be against it. If its as common and acessable as a steroid then sure.

Supply and demand applies to the work force as well, you know. People are a product just like any other, if everyone was a scientist or engineer, it would still be as difficult to find work, let alone well paying work.
