ITT our plans to make this happen. We have so much potential. MLP is such an attractive aesthetic medium and POL is such an attractive (and correct) ideology. So why are we lagging behind.
How have we fucked up and how do we capitalize on successes?
>>102466Not this shit again. Stop with the grand scheming; it will be our downfall. Keep modelling fash aesthetics and before you know it you've crossed Czechoslovakia.
Actually, it was much slower a month ago. We've suddenly built up steam again with more political discussion, refugees from /pol/, and Anonfilly.
I think it is a mistake to consider this some sort of race or that /mlpol/ will replace /pol/ as the great right-wing community that wins the culture war. We're better off as a more obscure and esoteric messageboard that can contribute in a smaller manner but without being compromised. Keep in mind that our strengths are also our weaknesses. Nazi hoerses are great at keeping out shills and preventing us from taking ourselves too seriously. However, our potential community size is small because of this overlap. Fans of MLP, even if they are right-wing and redpilled, will more often than not be turned off by the sort of imagery we use. /Pol/acks and alt-right members, on the other hand, would see ponies performing certain,
ahem, actions, and mistake us for degenerates or at least not worth their time. The very purity that keeps us strong also limits our numbers.
>>102467This. A nation of philosophers would be helpless as every member would be too busy worrying over worthless things to get anything done.
>>102474This. We're actually gaining momentum rn since /mlp/ seems to be slowly imploding. I say we just keep doing what we've been doing: continue to lurk our respective homeboards, namedrop this place whenever convenient, and continue making this board a fun place to post.
The reason we don't get traffic is
1. Anons don't know we exist. Pretty much the average /pol/ack who like /mlpol/ who would move over here just doesn't know. /pol/ has over 6k posts per hour on a good day, and so of course our 1hour fishing trips would have little effect on drawing them over.
2. It takes a bit to move someone offsite. Pretty much the main problem. 4chan has a board culture of its own and even if we've only been separated for 8 months the idea of a /pol/ack leaving /pol/ instead of fighting to make it great again is off putting to those who care for the board.
3. This isn't /mlpol/. Yes call me a heretic but this isn't the original /mlpol/ and no matter how much we try to re-create the chemistry it won't ever be. Anons come here expecting it to be, and instead they get something very different from the /mlpol/ they loved. They might stick around because they feel inclined to but most of those we have fished over stay for a day maybe a week, then find something else to do back on 4chan, their home. We are a fragment of the original community and the more I've thought of it we are the fragment who either loved /mlpol/ a lot more, or those who hated 4chan. You can see this with the anon filly debate, are we orange or green? Well shit I'm always going to be green but others want to be orange because they never wanted to be with 4chan to begin with. You have to remember 8chan was hacked on April fools and a good amount of those in our ranks are 8chaners not ordinary /pol/acks or nor/mlp/eople. I'd say because we have a lot more 8chaners then the original /mlpol/ did it causes a lot of chemistry problems with what made the original formula so great. Le shitty braise kek :DDDD might be cringdy but a lot of our 4chan shitpositing can be funny because its good from time to time to make a fool of yourself. When you look through the archive of /mlpol/ you find very little political debate and a lot more unique content and fun posting. Thats what made /mlpol/ fun and different from /pol/ and /mlp/ even at their greatest. 8chaners are a more serious bunch and so make the tone of /mlpol/.net more serious then the original /mlpol/. We rarely if not ever have fun posting threads and instead focus a lot more on "operations" or news and political discussion with a pony thread and le obligatory porn thread.
tl;dr
We need more funposting and funny shit to separate ourselves from /pol/ and /mlp/ and draw in new anons.
>>102474I'm not suggesting that we dilute the purity of the board. You are correct; this is not a board for red pilling or creating culture war progress. It is, however, a great place for the purists to congregate. And I'm just concerned that those numbers have dropped. What I am saying is that the more MLPOL minded members of all borus coming together in one place will exponentially increase the "idea sex" that leads to new innovations.
>>102467Fash aesthetics are silly meme. Normies think it's weird, hardliners think it is gay subversion. I'm seriously confused as to why anyone who isn't an arty centrist would consider fash aesthetics convincing. The normie friends I have spoken to about this think it's cringe. Why are we pushing this? I'm not hating; we are on the same team. I'm just confused.
>>102482 This is an excellent strategy for gaining more similarly minded people. But I'm more concerned with the steep decline in similarly minded people.
>>102487>>102488Addendum. Orange posters are more than welcome and I love the more erudite contributions of the orange. But Green is how you get shit done. Demonstrably. There is not an orange candidate in office (durr hurr Thrackerzod is orange! aside). Euros are from our motherland; but Greens know how to get shit done. So maybe we need to push the humor further...?
>>102490>Thrackerzod Drumph* via retard spell check
First pix is from the more reliable statistics page, second is from the less reliable home page. It covers all boards.
We are rebounding.
>>102496>>102497called it, now that finals and the holidays are over things are going to normalize again.
>>102466it's because people who are still on 4chan now are the ones who refuse to leave it no matter how bad it gets, but it's the only place we fish for more users. We need people on the rest of the internet to know that we even exist
>>102466We seem to be growing right now. 4chan is on the decline because the mods seem to be hellbent on destroying the site. I think the best thing we can do to grow the site right now is to post and create content. We may want to advertise on other sites or fish on 4chan during our most active hours.
/leftypol/ is collapsing right now
>>101609 → We could raid them. We could raid them with horse pussy. Pics of leslie fair fucking their cat girls or Aryanne shitting on them would be great ammo.
It pains me to have only my phone and shit internet. When I have my full rig and speed back I will go one a grand shitposting fishing autism spree for you all.
>>102488Bottom line is we have had this discussion many times and in fact the board has gotten extra activity this month. The mods aren't fools here and your supposes crisis has been dissected every which way. Alarmism will lead to inadvisable approaches and we have no reason to be sounding any alarms.
