What were animes that really affected you and changed what you think or who you are?
For me it is "School days" especially "Everybodies Makoto"
What about you?
never watched it
maybe I am missing some scars?
Naruto was the first non-Pokemon anime I ever saw. The sheer depth of it had child-me in awe.
But Gurren Lagann was the first time I felt pure awe, joy, and amazement as a man. That scene where they break out into the surface still gets me.
DNA² hit some spots.>>232
Uncensored really was something.
Angel beats beat the fuck outta my feels.
I also really liked Angel Beats. There's one called Charlotte done by the same people if you're interested, it's one of the best and most feels-inducing animes I've seen in a while.
Serial Experiments Lain started my interest in computers and the Internet when i watched it as a kid
Witch Hunter Robin.
It was probably the first Seinen I watched, and it may have been one of the sparks that really sold me on the slower, more talky, indirect kind of storytelling and thinking that I enjoy so much nowadays.
When i was small i used to watch cowboy bebop, survival island, koni-chan, inuyasha, school of detectives and death note.
watching those everyday affected me someway i guess, but i won't attribute my current personality to silly anime
Never watched the whole thing>>241
I'll give it a look>>242>but i won't attribute my current personality to silly anime
