I won't say there hasn't been a drop in traffic, but the only way to improve it is to take it upon yourself to produce/post content.
done a little digging here and there, however just seems there is no new imageboards being made, either that or perhaps too much looming around the same sites just waiting for something new. since 9ch dust settled everything just seems well, quiet. As far as this site things seem steady. honestly a bit more steady than some other places I visit. Just desire that high of.
<"oh this is new! how fresh."
>>3631Imagine a world where everyone makes their own tiny imageboards with a handful of users each. each one has low posts per week. nobody wants to give up being in charge of their little board and join someone else's. that would suck. reminds me of how often I saw that happen in the proboards days.
>>3634/1ntr is home for me, but I dedicate my time visiting other small boards/sites and enjoy learning about them. and what keeps them there. There is a charm to it all in my opinion.
>>3634>nobody wants to give up being in charge of their little boardIs that really a thing? What kind of pathetic, egotistical narcissist would actually give a crap about being "in charge" of some tiny little anonymous image board? Probably some sorry failure or a spoiled brat who's never truly been in control of anything in his life.
I think it's moreso that these communities form around very specific topics, and anons who've invested a lot of time into their communities don't want to leave because they believe that they can make them better.
>Is that really a thing?
in some ways yes, i mean with kiwi farms Joshua Moon (Null) is a bit of a narcissist, not a bad guy but likes the sound of his own voice i guess you can say. he's had his following for years, and is seen as an "everlord" within his community, i say he deserves the rep putting up with a lot and being on a good grip of angry subjects of his forum to the point of always moving around. he tried running his own image board.
<9chan
he lasted maybe a month after beta testing, before throwing in the towel, and handing the site over to someone, that is still a mystery. None the less the site is doing fine, but you can see a bit of kiwi posting and:
<muh everlord boards
not sure if i am putting this right, but he has his following and some may think as anon was saying
>What kind of pathetic, egotistical narcissist would actually give a crap about being "in charge"
some are just found in that position, not implying that they don't exists, i personally haven seen too many of those types, except maybe..
<Jim Watkins perhaps?..
he's a good example of a narcissistic business man, if you remember the goldwater that was a fucking joke. Not sure what that crazy fucker is up to these days but holy fuck.

>>3643holy shit that post is messy, fuck phoneposting.
>>3645>The struggle is real<the struggle has ended!what can I say, am impatient and wanted to reply. So lets see where we left off.
>I think it's moreso that these communities form around very specific topics, and anons who've invested a lot of time into their communities don't want to leave because they believe that they can make them better.<the sudden pain in the gut comes.<Desuchan dot dot dotVery much so agree, Personally on my end, I have grown used to boards/site/communities growing stagnant. Even dying as much as a dread that could be. I much rather see a community sit quietly, than for the BO, or fagmin to give up and burn it all down, memories and all.
<oh, there goes the gut.<krautchan<64ch<8ch.co<ArisuchanCan name others; however much like arisuchan they are chans I personally have not been involved with, but none the less added to the catalog off burned down imageboards, leaving only perhaps the few dedicated posters, turned nomadic.
its all just disappointing.
