Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where the Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures thank to their dealing with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
Half of the party - Brie, Onyx, and Spark - are on a train to far off Bales to try to cross the border into the Changeling Lands. the other half remains in Baltimare, where Silver is searching catacombs seeking books filled with long buried dark secrets, Dark Star is having luck with his marefriend, and Iron aiding in trafficking exotic animals

Rest in the afterlife will seem such a difficult goal to reach, should he perish before settling things in life. He wonders if anypony will bother to look for him in the catacombs, if he dies on this mission, or if his body even be found in the first place.

Please, Celestia, let them be alright...see me through this, so that I might reunite with them someday...please...

"It's been a while, huh? 20 years? Something around that? I bet you're thinking, 'Who is this asshat who takes 20 years to write home?'. Well, it's me. Rain. Yeah, I know I'm a little late, and I'm sorry. You know, about...all of that. I'm gonna get to that, I promise, it's just...I've had to rewrite this like six times, now, and every time I've thrown it out because I keep on ranting. Well, screw that jazz. I'm not rewriting this a seventh time, so if I rant, maybe it's just because I feel like I need to.
"Anyways, onto the actual letter part of this. I've been having trouble trying to come up with things to write. I'm not as good as either Spec or White with this sort of thing. I'm a good speaker, not a good writer. Oh, uh, speaking of, I met up with lil' Spec and White not too long ago. Maybe a couple months have passed since then. They're doing well, they said. They also said they were happy to see me, it had been so long. We talked about some things. You, uh...you should have been there. You probably would have been, if it wasn't just a thing that happened with no prior warning. Again, sorry about that. Anyways, it's nice to see Spec likes it in the military. To hear him talk about his company, you'd almost believe he and his Hengstwolves could fight off Chrysalis's forces single-hoofedly, even if they are still just one recon company out of hundreds. I guess they are being, or already have been at this point, I guess, redeployed to the Changeling border, up near Vanhoover. He didn't seem worried about it, like he thinks it's inevitable that we'll 'beat the bugs back to the Olenian Ocean'. I wish I had his optimism.
"And White, she hasn't changed a bit: she's still that book-lovin' egghead we all know and love. Well, she might have changed a little. Looks like a little of Spec's joker side has rubbed off on her, or a little bit of his charisma. It's nice to see they remained close after they left home. Might even be their time apart has made their bond stronger. Anyways, she's doing well, too, if a little worried about the whole Changeling situation. I'm not sure if she's worried for herself, Equestria, or Spec being on the frontlines, though. I asked her about what the government's got her doing now, and all she said was 'Oh, you know, stuff. Stuff and things.'. She did say she's barely spending any time at the Mages Guild or Celestia's School, anymore, now that she's been fully committed to the Princesses' research efforts. I'm not always proud of the stallion I've become, and the things I've done. You'd be ashamed of me, I bet, just as I'm ashamed in myself. These past few years I've really come to regret those decisions, and it's only gotten worse every day I've been livin' on. And with this whole thing, this threat of war looming over us all...and knowing you'll be out there, risking your life to help Equestria...fearing that you'll...die...I feel like I don't have much time left to...to make things right. There's a lot I need to get off my chest. And so, I'm writing this letter, to tell you...

You probably would have been, if it wasn't just a thing that happened with no prior warning. Again, sorry about that. Anyways, it's nice to see Spec likes it in the military. To hear him talk about his company, you'd almost believe he and his Hengstwolves could fight off Chrysalis's forces single-hoofedly, even if they are still just one recon company out of hundreds. I guess they are being, or already have been at this point, I guess, redeployed to the Changeling border, up near Vanhoover. He didn't seem worried about it, like he thinks it's inevitable that we'll 'beat the bugs back to the Olenian Ocean'. I wish I had his optimism.
"And White, she hasn't changed a bit: she's still that book-lovin' egghead we all know and love. Well, she might have changed a little. Looks like a little of Spec's joker side has rubbed off on her, or a little bit of his charisma. It's nice to see they remained close after they left home. Thinking on what Iron's player said before, imagine how messed up an Alicorn Silver, Star, and Skies would make? We have a Unicorn who can barely use magic but has almost Earth Pony strength, an Earth Pony who lacks strength but has a Pegasus's speed and dexterity, and a Pegasus who can't manipulate weather but is smarter than most Unicorns.

Needless to Say my mom wasn't to pleased to her a griffin say that. "How Dare you! my Son will Be going no where with you! and please Refrain from using Profanity."

"She was never a fighter.but that night she fought with all of her might. the fight went on for what seemed like forever. i stood there paralyzed, Hoping it was all a bad dream and it wasn't really happening. and as it looked like she might be victorious He came down on here with a powerful swing,one that made her body Crumble into a heap of Blood. leaving her body broken."
Dark Star begins to cry as he is reliving this part of the story.
"He stood over her with his broken beak contorted into a sick Smile. with all the stregth she had left Bellowed out "Run Darkie,Run as fast as you can and hide like mommy taught you! i love y-" After that she was Cut of by the sickening thud of his clawed boot repeatedly stomping on her head"

After that i dont remember much about what happend. what i do remember is getting a ride Back to the farm with the police officers that came when the deskpony called them."
