Set six years after season 6, Occupied Equestria presents an alternative history where Chrysalis chose a different approach to her second attack on Equestria. The Changelings have conquered half of Equestria, while a former Equestrian colony - soured to Princess Twilight's notion of harmony with all creatures thank to their dealing with griffins - Invaded and took the other half. In Baltimare and the Equestrian Southeast, the magic of friendship has weakened, as Communists, Changeling infiltrators, Fascists, gangs, and corrupt creepy politicians threaten the city. This role play is based in large part upon the Equestria at War mod for Hearts of Iron 4, and uses D&d 3.5e mechanics.
Silver is learning about foreign pony cultures, Dark Star is preparing to put on a play for the children of the Saint Prancis Orphanage, Onyx has received several possible missions from the government, Brie is buying clothing, presumably for a long journey. Ash and Iron are leaving the office of a now enraged gangster... or not.

I slightly feel tempted not to after such a failure of a mission so far. Don't mind my salt exertion, I'll go back to normal in a bit after a little venting.
Iron fumbles with the lock, just in case it knows how to open the thing. He also tries to gauge if he can pass his hooves through the bars if possible. He may have an idea on how to get the chain.

The cage is really almost like a chicken coup or a fox trap. In most areas, the bars are are too close together to allow a hoof to go through. However, there are multiple areas where the spread is wide enough for a hoof

With a deep breath, Silver descends into the quarry. He keeps to the dry path, as he's not very excited to get to know whatever is in that (presumably foul-smelling) water. As he arrives and looks at the carnage he had wrought to the entrance, he admits to himself that blowing this shut probably wasn't the best idea, and he would not have had he known that there had been a fire set inside.
Oh well, that's all hindsight, anyways. In the now, he looks at the rocks to try to gauge their weight, and if there's any that look particularly loose in this mess. He wants to find ones that are light enough or easy enough to move using his telekinesis to reopen the passage to air.
