Nope. Two of the maps are based on the russian revolution - red army versus white army. They're really stretching what counts as world war 1 but it's one of the more interesting things they could have added.

Only good thing about the game is that snipers are an actual threat again because, at certain ranges, bodyshots are one-hit kills. Everything else is done better in previous games.
