Hello stallions (and maybe mares? I do not think any women use mlpol I would be shocked), how do I become an actual Wizard? Because I want to become one.
I know that all of reality is mental in type, so the philosophy of idealism is true, specifically monistic-subjective idealism. But is there a certified way of becoming one? If not, what would you guys think would be a good process of becoming one. I wanna be a certified Vvizard.
You have to successfully divide by zero.
>>190985I was gonna say "your application for wizard-hood has been accepted" with some more spiel, but you clearly have this under control
You must abstain from the warm embrace of mares for eternity.
>>190985You wouldnt believe it. I did it!!!!! It's called vvizer'dry bro.
>>190984>how do I become an actual Wizard?First of all, you must gather your inner power.

Get into:
- paganism:
make a grimoire on neocities, make an altar with CSS or a physical one if you have space and privacy. Paganism is broad and basically anything non-abrahamic, originally being a derogatory term for folk practices before they chimped out and burned everything in the name of the popcicle man. But these days pagans have reclaimed the term and used it for online communities and webrings, which means recovery of lost practices and creation of new practices.
- Linux
FOSS is basically Paganism but computers.
- and chemistry
The state of the art of Alchemy
That's pretty much it until you can hone down what kinda wizard in particular you're interested in becoming after that.
>>190984OP, might I ask why you strive towards comprehending (and wielding) magic? There is palpable risk involved, and for most people, steep and constant interest in the occult is oftentimes the path to ruination. I write this as someone who has a scholarly interest in the occult so as to augment understanding of theology, but in my experience, it is far too dangerous for the uninitiated.
I find that magic is, in the Occidental tent, a means to project one's volition onto reality. There are a myriad of ways of performing the rites to do so, but they're underscored by the idea that these varied rituals are only a means to focus the will of the magician. I find that most of the time, such magic is either a primordial force that uses unwitting human beings as pawns or is at the behest of something far more unsavoury.
In all honesty, I think /ub/ would be a great place to start, as self-improvement will engender discipline. If you're still interested, we could have a thread on the esoteric.
With that written, I too must ask, what has your research yielded thus far? Outside of the underpinning meaning you attribute to becoming a wizard, what aspect of magic has enthralled you? Do you think it's a worthwhile endeavour to devote years of your life to something that might entreat the complete opposite of what you expect?
all you have to do is say NIGGER alot.
