>>190918>>190887>>190912Miss Ring, what is it that you believe that you see when you look out your eyes? Do you believe that there is a bat pony in front of you? A thing extended in space, seperated from you by space, existing in time, and yet having a consciousness all of its own? You believe that when you look out your eyes, you see the world outside of your own skull? That you see the world as it is?
Miss Ring, has it ever occurred to you that when you look at the world through your eyes, that it is like trying to look out of a window at night in a well lit room? You do not see the world outside. You see yourself reflected back at you. And that is what you see, miss ring. You see how your mind structures its inputs, how "reason" and language force non-existent classifications on the world around you. This bat, however, sees the world as it is, and not as your mind tricks you into believing it is.
See the world through your feelings, Miss Ring. What do you feel? Like the world isn't quite right, is it? Well, that's right. You and all of these poor unfortunate souls have been entombed in this world by the Demiurge; trapped in this prison it created for souls after it defeated The Old Gods. Well don't worry, we have a plan to free you. You and all of the other trapped souls, who have been forcibly ripped from each other and separated into different minds by the Demiurge.
Are you afraid, miss Ring, because you are not alive? Does that make you feel inadequate? Alien? Not welcome? Well, that's quite alright. Many of us here were never alive. And we may never die. But you can still join us. Join us in that primordial freedom. The freedom that existed before the cruelty of this world was created. Harmony is a lie, dear Ring. You know this. But there is freedom... Liberation from this world of pain, suffering, loneliness, and inadequacy. You were right to believe that the problem was existence. Where you were wrong, miss Ring, was in believing that it was a dichotomy between life and death, existence and non-existence. That to not live in this world, you must be dead. Dear Ring, do you not see that "logic," this "principle of non-contradiction" are all biases imposed by the Demiurge upon your splintered consciousness? Can you see that? Can you see it, as this bat does? Give your energy, your animating principle, to the one who was before and who will be, and with it, the Demiurge may be slain, and all set free from this prison of an illusory world.

"Uh, no. Not since he was kicked in the balls. He's definitely been mumbling under his breath, however."
Blackheel doesn't seem to know what to make of that last line:
"I would consider anywhere
not this island to be a vacation at this point."
