The main part of the party in Mended Horn is wrapping up a matter at an Abandoned Whaling/Sealing station... somewhat. Virgin Flame has made her return and is celebrating with exercise and tea after recovering an important marble statue head and vanquishing several amoebas in the process.

For the RECORD:
Im not begrudging anything.
What I AM doing is basing Brie's perspective off what he was thinking would happen, and what happened.
Brie does NOT think the bluff check passed, even if it did. He doesnt speak russian, so he doesnt know.
Hes kinda shitting himself, cuz hes envisioning a whome squad deciding to look where they are.

But he hasnt SAID anything yet

A shudder runs down Vir's back as a memory of waking up to the splashing of Delamare river on its bank and hitting her head on the underside of its bridge. She rembered how the tips of her hooves had gone numb, the one part of her she hadn't been able to fit under her cloak. She also recounts the taste of alcohol induced womit in her mouth.

Vir jumps up in Heather's face like an big affectionate dog. She pulls Heather and her cute pony forelegs into her embrace as they both stand only on their backlegs.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!" she says.

Posey flags down Brie
"~Hello, chauve-souris au fromage." She says, still walking
She levitates her satchel with her magic, and from it produces five Easter eggs.
"Chances are that we will not make it off this island without fighting, so I think believe you might like to have these." She says, levitating one of the eggs
"Eggshell Dust Grenades. Alchemical weapons of the ninja from the east, crafted by my maste- I mean Mentor. Throw them directly at your target, and they will be blinded for long enough for you to take advantage of them. I believe you might fancy them."
"These are all I have with me, and I do not have the skills to replace them. However, I could be persuaded to part with them, if you would do me a favor."
Her unseen servant opens her satchel, and she produces several items.
"As a freehorn warmagus, it is often that I get paid in avant garde ways. I am not versed in the currency of this country. Would you please tell me what the following items are worth in gold bits? I am trying to open a business, so I need to count my assets. We do not do the paper money thing where I come from."
The items are
>Hyena Totem (magic item)
>Hyena Mask (magic item)
>Gold Bracelet (the one from the Crocutta apartment)
>Gold necklace
>Gold Bangle
>Clip of magic bullets
>Second clip of magic bullets
>Magic Crystal that was attached to a magic rifle
>186 dollarydoos
>24 Thalers
>38 Abyssinian Birrs

I've had these items for a long time, and I have no idea what they're worth. I asked what their value was a while ago, but GM was occupied, so I didn't get their value. I have no ranks in appraise, so I can't appraise the value of exotic items (basically all magic items).
You have a mod high enough to take 10 on each item though.

GM, if you forgot the value of the jewelry, please just roll one of the treasure tables or just assign whatever value you deem is appropriate.

Idk what the abilities of this weapon are, but knowing its price could help me guess.
The bullets I believe should be worth at least 368.32 gp per clip (assuming 8 bullets), but idk their enhancement bonus, so I want to be sure.

Rosey Ring levitates the items to Brie, and requests that he help her estimate their value, in exchange for giving him the eggshell grenades.

A recipe either lost or hidden ages ago.Naturally I'll have to try one at earliest convenience; for science," theres that twinkle in the eye again. His eyes dart reflexively to the distant Griffons before visibly dismissing the idea.
"While they are no doubt effective simply thrown at an opponent, the egg shell is intended for its breakability after all, one is actually intended to crush the egg in the frog of their hoof and then fling the powder directly into the pony's eyes. A pony will tend to react more evasively to a thrown object than sudden sparkledust, and that moment of incomprehensiom can be the difference between success and failure."

This is precisely what the crush-the-shell, eye-flick technique is intended to address. It focuses the powder directly at the face/eyes of the opponent, rather than letting the contents rupture and chaotically spill everywhere to the consequence of the user and any potential allies.
