In the North, Spark has encountered a new tribe of creatures, who are eager to take him as an emissary between cultures. In the south, Iron sleeps off his wounds, with dreams of a new life for himself and a certain zebra. Silver tries to settle in those he saved from the cultists into their own lives. Fantasy play establishes herself in Baltimare, and she too, has encountered cultures unknown to her before. As they all search for normalcy, it remains to be seen just what dangers await beyond the horizon

Silver probably could have chosen a nearer furniture store, as it's quite a walk. Mala starts walking by Silver's side, then walking ahead and looking around him, then circling around Silver, occasionally moving to get out of eye sight from concerned or fearful ponies.

"I think you may have had a point with that 'what you heart wants'... It sent me to the most 'pony' one. I never knew really what I wanted to be in my life. I don't have a story about homeland like the griffin or the others... I haven't been much able to fit in with pony society and there were only so many gnolls. In the last couple years I did find gnolls. The few back there. But most were Crocuta, not Kaftar. The griffins didn't know the difference and neither did Boek. But they did. Anyways... I'm not sure it's who I wanted to be. But stumbling into that bed... maybe it means I always wanted to be a pony"
