Along the shores of Baltimare Harbor, in the halls of old 33 Hoebuck, our heroes have discovered a dark secret. What started as a mundane mission to stop illegal immigrant smuggling has uncovered something far more horrific - a cult from Griffonia. The party has successfully challenged and defeated many of the cultists and hired criminals, but in the process, has nearly died themselves. Now, low on health, they must both recover and put an end to the evils in 33 Hoebuck once and for all - before it puts an end to them first.
Way up north, in the Iron Range of Whinnysota, the ponies their inquire into exact who or what is damaging so many machines. Investigating and following leads, they may unveil the faults and problems of the Haysabi Iron Mine, and gain favor with Changeling authorities.

Khoi and White Sands shoot at the remaining griffin
>>124785After he falls, Silver kicks him over, and slices his belly, cutting organs out
The light slowly flees from his eyes
[2d8 = 10][2d6 = 7][1d20+3 = 19]>>124786Hit and hit. Rolling damage
>>124785Behind Silver, the Kirin he killed runs up, and attacks with his hooves

Blue Skies shoots, and Mala swings at the Kirin
Because Midnight's player went to sleep her segment has not been completed.
But for Iron and Silver, the dead have been killed once again, and Boek has one less trick up his sleeve - one less tool to keep the ponies from him
>>124791Should we continue when Midnight's back?
>>124792Yes
It looks like all of the ponies are below 20 HP, with Silver losing 5 HP after the +5 for blood transfusion, and Iron is breaking even
[1d20+4 = 17]>>124796So what's going on is that Boek and Maar have animated the corpses of the enemies killed to fight against the ponies. This is divided int three simultaneous combats, one for each player. Silver and Iron have completed their's, Midnight has not.
Midnight is besieged by a griffin she killed, the Kafkar gnoll she killed, the diamond dog she killed, and the voodoo zebra she killed.
She is being helped by Jubilosa, the griffin, and Johann, the other griffin. She's pretty popular with the griffins, apparently
The initiative order is:
Griffin
Jubilosa
Kafkar
Midnight
Diamond Dog
Johann
Zebress
The griffin has already attacked midnight - and failed
Jubilosa attacks the Kafkar gnoll with her rifle
>>124801The gnoll stabbed and sliced by Midnight before, is once again sliced and stabbed
Hit
Hit
[1d20+6 = 13][1d20+2 = 6]>>124803The gnoll is shot through, in the upper chest. He is stabbed through his low hanging belly. And then Midnight thrusts her dagger into his neck. The grim puppet staggers, then falls, with neither life nor magic to animate it
But the diamond dog punches at Midnight, and Johann aims his Mannilicher right at the animated griffin
+2 is the diamond dog puppter, +6 is Johann
[1d20+2 = 18]>>124803>>124805The griffin is shot, staggers.... but still swipes the knife still clutched in its claw at Midnight
[1d20+4 = 23]>>124803>>124806Midnight is stabbed...
Jubilosa shoots at the dead griffin cultist
[1d20+2 = 16][1d6 = 3][2d6 = 11]>>124803>>124807But the danger is not over yet. The voodoo zebrea, her neck almost hanging, from when Midnight nearly decapitated her, swipes with her staff
[1d4 = 2][1d3 = 2]>>124803>>124808Midnight is hit with a staff, and is punched by the diamond dog. But the gnoll is down, and so is the grififn cultist
Only the Zebra and diamond dog remain
Midnight's turn. Rolling damage on Midnight
[1d20+3 = 8]>>124813Stabbed through the eye with a dagger, and the left part of the torso with the sword, now shot at by Jubilosa for good measure
[1d20+3 = 6]>>124813>>124814She misses....
But the dog is resilient, wobbling back, but still standing.
He punches at Midnight
[1d20+2 = 12]>>124813And now, the voodoo zebra continues her rematch, swiping at Midnight
>>124817>>124813She misses, as a bullet puts down the dog seriously damaged a second time by Midnight
Only the Voodoo Zebra remains standing
>>124818Midnight restabs the zeeb
[1d20+7 = 18] S
[1d20+7 = 8] D
>>124819The sword hits, the dagger does not
[1d20+2 = 6]>>124821A chunk of flesh is sliced, and hangs from her leglike a banana peel. Any live creature would have found the pain unbearable. But this, red eyed puppet, is no living creature.
She swipes again with the staff
Midnight may attack again
>>124825In the battle befoore, Midnight made a blow so great that the Zebra's head was halfway sliced off. Now, Midnight's sword lobs her head right off, like a dandelion hit by a stick in child's play. The dagger, likewise, severs the right foreleg right off. There is little blood spread by the unbeating heart of this zebra on the chapel floor
Midnight has defeated all enemies
She has 9 HP remaining, counting a +5 to represent healing
>>124826I'll take that healing then
>>124827"One last push, My Little Pony"Restored lay of hooves, new healing spell
Iron has ~8 HP
Silver 12 HP
Midnight 9 HP
>>124828Rolling healing spell on Iron before distributing lay on hooves
[1d8+2 = 4] >>124832Midnight gets 5 from lay on hooves, Iron gets 2, and Silver gets 3.
HP for everypony should now be
Iron 14
Silver 15
Midnight 14
As the battle rages, the rescued creatures continue their barrage against Boek, not penetrating his magical bubble shield, but keeping him on edge, and unable to intervene in a decisive way against the ponies, who themselves are besieged by waves of enemies.
But at one, terrible moment, Boek levels his horn at the auxiliaries and sends a bead of fire that explodes on contact with the floor. Blue Skies, Johann, and Undertoe are already near the ground, in cover behind pews. But Khoi, Jubilosa, and White Sands, standing in the open are more exposed. Khoi, near the epicenter, is perhaps only saved by her species’ fire resistance, as she combusts herself into black and purple. Jubilosa and White Sands tumble out of the way as a pew is knocked over. Though the exact damage behind the screams and fire is hard for the ponies to measure, the rifle cracks start again after the passage of some seconds.
Cultists who may have preferred to fight for their beliefs over capture are deterred by the superior firepower in the back of the room, and by what is implied by the red and blue light that bleeds through the vaulted glass ceiling. They fall prone, or hide behind pews where possible.
Boek grins back to the auxiliaries who shoot at him, as shot after shot hits his shield to no evident effect. But then a bullet hits... and the bubble bursts. Another bullet grazes his back, and causes him to bleed, and the smile drains away from his face. He dives down to try to hide under raised altar area, before rising with a new bubble shield. But the grin does not return
Boek is silent as his hounds and champions move forward, but as the battle progresses, he becomes more talkative. His words seem to be aimed most at Silver, for Silver, after all, is the only one to say more than a few words to him:
“Who do you work for? Does the Lady want to eliminate her competition? Did the city become wise? Is it the Dominion looking for more weapons dealers? No matter.... all the same you are working under a society, within its laws or without, but very much limited by its vision. For more than a thousand years, ponykind has lived thinking itself the center of the universe. It holds its own ideals of harmony, reason and magic above all others. They make laws and customs emphasizing restraint, telling you you must refrain from doing things that might be advantageous to you, of course while these laws always benefit those who make the laws.
These narrow minded hypocrites haven’t the slightest conception of what is out there. What is beyond the lunar sphere... what lies within the hearts of creatures. They lack even the wisdom of their ancestors, or of the cultures of Griffoninia and Zebrica, whom they dismiss as “primitives” or atavistic. No. These alleged ‘primaries,’ understand, as I do, that neither ponykind nor its conceptions of harmony and friendship hold any significance within the larger universe; that space and time are but constructions of the mind; that the inner heart and the abyss of the outer spheres are closer, far closer than Canterlot pomy may imagine; that the material world, as you see it, comes only from the imprint of feeble senses upon the mind, which comprehends only a pittance of what is; that Will and instinct, not matter, underly reality, each individual being but the crested wave of a deeper sea of Will to Life and Power; and that there are great things, far beyond what any magician nor scientist would dare fathom.
Of those elder entities to swim the abyss eons before the rise of pony and griffinkind, Masr is among the more... reasonable. Easier to negotiate with. And may it be known... he has more to give than The Lady, the City, or even The Duke May offer.”

>>124836>>124835Iron giggles inbetween breaths, his whole coat becoming redder by the second.
"So you are finally afraid, beaked one?" he taunts "Do you not want to see what is beyond life? Do you not want to meet the god you deal with? Because I say you would two could be fast friends."
He readies his battle stance, grinning viciously. "You only need one little 'push' in the right direction."
Boek’s horn lights blue, showing a new, transparent blue magical shield
>>124837Boek is an elderly, white maned orange unicorn pony with a red robe and a dress vest underneath, for the record
Boek stands firm and still in defensive stance. The party has the initiative
