It's about autism and psychology.
The subject is approached from an academic angle. At not time bronies are bad mouthed.

It would be interesting to hear his take if he went into the chan part of the fandom too.

Just finished watching it, and yeah, this guy missed at least 1/3 of the reason why MLP is so popular. Probably closer to 1/2

>>4703
I wouldn't say its 'the chans', though that was a big part of it early on. The bigger picture would be the age of memes. I've been an IRC junkie for a lot of years, about double the amount of time ponies has been around. When somebody says or posts something anywhere (IRC, random forum, comment section of video) and either enough people get upset or the correct person (the target) gets upset, there was success.
This kind of trolling has been a hallmark of hackers since the beginning of the term 'hackers' in the 1950's. There is a rather large portion of IT or similar people in the MLP fandom who get very triggered very easily. I think that is largely the more conservative bronies trolling the more liberal faggoid bronies. Still seems to be happening quite a lot today too. Just look in a mirror and ask yourself: Why do I post on mlpol?

Really that's the main reason why I find myself around here recently, even though I've never interacted with any chan shit before. With companies like google, amazon and similar picking up more autistic brony fagbots to run various portions of the computer side of the business (AKA censoring the entire internet), it makes mlpol and similar places extremely important strongholds for the future.

How many people today worship Harry Potter or Avatar: The Last Airbender and see nothing wrong with it?
HP is overhyped shit and ATLA's a masterpiece, but suddenly once people respect the good writing in a few FIM episodes out of many shit ones suddenly it's a mystery that needs solving. Suddenly trannies with anime catboy profile pics and weed-addicted consoomers in Rickanmorty shirts can't understand why grown men would like something so "unmanly".

Anon, you would literally need to watch AoT, and AoT only, if you were to reject all effeminate messages in contemporary entertainment

I wouldn't consider AoT to be the best representation of gender norms, tbh.

FIM might not be the manliest show alive but neither are the things normalfags consoom daily only to sneer at FIM fans for liking something primarily marketed towards children.
In their consoomer world, it is only normal to consoom what is clearly meant for you, regardless of quality.

No words on FiM, too long to get in here, but it is very special and suprisingly based
>>4737
Prob, but it is about the most based thing i've ever seen, you'll hear some people talk about how it ended up cucking, but it basically proved Eren was right, Paradis ended up facing collapse after a long while just like Equestria.

Anyone got the image someone draw of him with the plushie? Remember seeing it but can't remember where. Was a simplified stylistic drawing of him holding the plushie.
