ITT: We post artists, songs, albums, and discuss the merits and shortcomings of various musical projects. The music discussed need not necessarily be right wing, as there is currently a thread on /mlpol/ housing discussion and updates regarding that.
Attached is the latest /mu/-core chart I could find, but that hardly means the thread needs to be restricted to discussing movements made in the last couple decades.

Not sure what tastes we're working with here, so I suppose I can kick it off with an album that comes to mind when I think Überhengst. Death Grips in general, if any anons haven't listened to them by now, would be a really good place to start if you're looking to get into something that /mu/ would recommend. You can see their albums littering the 2010s section of the chart I posted in the OP.
Exmilitary, their first mixtape in particular, starts with a sample taken from none other than Charlie Manson, and whether or not it touches upon Nietzsche's theories of Übermenschen, it truly is something to behold, as it broke ground that never had been touched before at the time of its release. There have been acts influenced by it, there even had been some projects that were somewhat similar in spirit before its release, but nothing really has been done quite like it before or since.
Indeed, Death Grips, if they had done a particular sound once, did it well, and had rarely returned; since there was no need.
>>3576If that bothers you then I guess it's not your kind of album.
>>3591Have you got anything better, or are you content to whine about it?
>>3593Not really sure what your point is here.
>>3595>Have you got anything betterAt least spider man music is Negro free, therefore it's automatically superior for being nigger-less, your genre is too dark skinned to be acceptable for the professional standard, mister brown.
Mysterio's best theme is obviously the 2000 one, you'll find no African bongo's or Congo vocals here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55cHsXiDr2sMaximum Carnage had a spectacular track to it, the original composers were Chris Jojo and Allistair Brimble, once again, devoid of darkies.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdYqeXCv2tchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGIT7RXu88s >>3596>your genre is too dark skinned to be acceptable for the professional standard, mister brown. Can you tell me what genre Death Grips happens to be? Or are you just memeing?
Another retro tune from Maximum Carnage, chasing insanity. No blacks here either.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGg5xVCDkVg>>3597It's a nigger genre and you shill it.
>>3599>It's a nigger genreHell no.
>and you shill it.Because it's good and this is a music thread.
>>3600>Hell noSo is it a ghetto favorite among the pimps?
>Because it's goodIt's good enough, for a Negro.
>this is a music threadThat means this digital page isn't solely confined to Groin Grips.
>>3601It's been pretty clear that you haven't the slightest idea of what you're talking about, and are content to act like the very niggers you claim to hate; ie coming into a thread that has nothing to do with you and waving your dick around like you've got something to say when you're really just trying to act like a bull in a china shop and make it all about you. Listen to it, or don't, but I really doubt anything you come up with is going to come close to the quality of what's been produced by the album I've listed above. And if you want to bitch and moan about niggers some more you're always able to make a thread about it on /mlpol/.
>>3602>Ruining your thread My point still stands, it's big black nigger music.
Don't know what's got you so defensive, perhaps you're a Groin Grips enthusiast. Post some different music if the heats too hot in the kitchen.
>>3603>>Ruining your threadPretty much, you're acting like a nigger and taking pride in it.
>My point still stands, it's big black nigger music.Absolutely not, that's not really much of a point anyway.
>Don't know what's got you so defensiveI've already told you what my problem is with you. You want to post music or keep acting like a nigger?
>>3604>You want to post music?Yes, if it'll cheer you up.
Maybe the gooks are more up your black alley.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-v7Q9C2Iw0 >>3605So it's gonna be like that, huh. There's no oldfag /mu/tants around here after all, I guess.
If anypony wants any recs let me know and I suppose I can maybe point you in the direction of some essentials or charts, but I can't guarantee there won't be a black boogeyman creeping around any of them.
>>3607>Spoderman 2Now that's a name I haven't heard in a very long time.
That Handsome Devil is another outfit that hasn't lost its artistic integrity with the shifting attitudes of the times. "Your Parents Are Sellouts" is fresh off the presses, get it while it's hot.
I'm also seeing "Little Dark Age" by MGMT in a couple webms over on /mlpol/. It's pretty good if anyponer wants to check it out and doesn't know about it already.
And this while trolling /mlp/. For those unaware, Kero Kero Bonito is the FiM of music.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiROTx5v2xQ>>3628It's an old game, but the first recluse man game is even older.
Here's 2 themes from the original spider spiker soundtrack.
Capeshit is pleasant in minimal doses, too much and you'll end up a comic collector. >>3662Sorry, can't say that game OSTs are really my cup of tea anymore. Pedro's theme from Civ 6 was nice to listen to, but that was written long before the game was made.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS8cqnnQ9jQ >>3664Neither may I say the sound of Civilization 6 is sweet to my bitter palate either, probably because the game has never been a grandiose intrigue, nor interest of mine.
Perhaps the predator themes from AVP Extinction may be more fitting to your taste. The drums are reminiscent of the Congo although it isn't black, which creates a grey area where it's acceptance is easier into my ears. The rhythm has a steady beat to it which isn't too over the top, which is more soothing than elevating.
The 2010 AVP soundtrack is more intense as well as faster in tune, it is a greater improvement over the Extinction soundtrack. It is a blended mixture of electronic style and tribal, a techno-tribal, as an abbreviation. The alien themes are vastly inferior, it is eerie and ambient which tries far too hard to accomplish it's goal of being a fit to the quickness of the Xeno, it comes off as an attempt rather than a made match.
>>3666>Perhaps the predator themes from AVP Extinction may be more fitting to your taste.Doubtful that we're gonna come to an agreement here. If you'd like to keep posting soundtracks, I suppose that's within the scope of the thread, but they've really never been something I've been all that interested in.
>>3664Sometimes I listen to the Civ 5 soundtracks but the ones for my nation make me feel bad about how shit my nation is now.
>>3667Fine, although the objective was never to agree, it may provide some insight into our preferences that have been sent out.
Secondly, big name video game soundtracks are never too greatly composed beyond a base pattern that most appear to follow like a path, this is mostly because of industry having shit taste that focuses on profit rather than the purpose of new creation involving instrumental art, (((they))) have almost always had a finger within game business in reference to music. So the same with many other similar professional standards, to the studios who produce the background music to games, music = money.
It is for the point of musical business rather than artistic beauty, which is not the primary goal of these corporations, as it shouldn't be. Furthermost, it is a mere distraction. For the smaller producers, they tend to maintain the sense of musical originality that bigger companies do not.
>>3670Where should a newfag composer look to experience the greatest of european music?
>>3671Find it out for yourself.
>>3669>>3671Not sure if you're a fan of Civ4 but it's littered with Bach and Beethoven, that's what first got me interested in classical, and it's got some modern symphonies in there as well for the later eras. Unfortunately it's something I'm still less familiar with than I'd like to be, but depending on how new you are, other composers to look up would be Haydn, Mozart, and Brahms. There's all kinds of symphonies posted on YT all the time. I would just look for the ones that made them renowned the most and work your way down from there if I were someone trying to get into it. Or there might be a chart here and there, but I've found it's easier to start with what's most accessible and work my way deeper than any other way. It's just most natural to me.
Furthermore there's at least a couple artists in the chart in the OP that are from Europe, Justice and Daft Punk (F) being two French House producers, in the spirit of /üb/ you might want to check out Rammstein if you haven't already. Radiohead did a lot to push the boundaries of what's considered rock. It's really a matter of what you're interested in. Please pardon my scattershot approach.
>>3670>Fine, although the objective was never to agree, it may provide some insight into our preferences that have been sent out. Fair enough. If you're looking to see what I'm interested in, it's really more of a breadth, much of which aligning with what /mu/ has been listening to over the years. I suppose they'd call me an entry-level /mu/tant, a step past normiepleb, for all they like to praise one another's tastes.
>It is for the point of musical business rather than artistic beauty, which is not the primary goal of these corporations, as it shouldn't be. Furthermost, it is a mere distraction. For the smaller producers, they tend to maintain the sense of musical originality that bigger companies do not.Certainly, you're usually not going to find something that's cutting edge in a video game; I'd rather listen to Animals as Leaders than the djent that was praised alongside the DOOM reboot in my spare time. Much of OSTs in general are created to accent what's going on in a larger body of work, though. You could say that about a most of them, save for maybe musicals, which aren't really my thing either.
>>3575I don't disregard music just on the grounds that it was made by black people, since it's actually one of the things they do that I like, but I have to say I made it to about 4:47 on this and I have to conclude it pretty much sucks. I legitimately can't find anything here that I like and I can't imagine who would recommend this audio-feces or why.
Anyway, here's some actual high-quality nog music if anyone's interested
some of these I think are actually on OP's /mu/ list:

Remeber when life's piece of shit make sure to laugh and sing. A smile and a wave in the right place can change quite alot.
Everyday can be happy day even in the damnedest times. Although it's not always appropriate to do so.
>>3675>but I have to say I made it to about 4:47 on this and I have to conclude it pretty much sucks. I legitimately can't find anything here that I like and I can't imagine who would recommend this audio-feces or why.I can't tell you how many times I've heard someone say something like that and eventually come around. Try The Money Store.
>>3675You're welcome, by the way. You can thank me later.
As any proper metalhead could clearly see, I'm not very well versed in brutality, I just liked the meme idea and the colors (wish Rainbow Explosion had some green in his hair though, the background could be a bit darker as well for a bit less of a stark contrast[?]). Also you should listen to Animals as Leaders if you don't already, they're pretty good, and if some poner comes by and likes metal please post some facemelting albums, I could stand to delve into that genre a bit more. I've heard Opeth is pretty good, but I never could get into them. Maybe I can take another look.
>>3698Come to think of it, Dillinger Escape Plan was something I could find agreeable to my tastes back when I listened to a lot of Math Rock, but I was really looking more for something more purely, bleakly, ragefully Metal. Guess I can start there for now, anyway.
>>3574Lately I've been listening to Speedcore
https://youtu.be/Uux4nEufkNYDoes anyone here know of any good speedcore songs?
>>3700>speedcoreNo, however Little Dark Age
>>3630 is extremely gothic and the sonic embodiment of the rended heart of the White man. It's so white, in fact, that it makes me want to buy eyeliner and move into the Castle of the Two Sisters and marry Limey and get haunted by Flutterbat and take long and lonesome walks in misty graveyards and have questionable relations with her sisters every time I listen to it.
>>3701>her sistersLimey's. Sorry I can't help you with your request but I really hope some anons will take a look at LDA, it's brought a tear to my eye more than once.
Another from the chart, Illinois -- stylized "Illinoise," one of Sufjan Stevens' -- features complex arrangements, an in-depth history of the state in question, Christian themes, the blending of many genres across many songs, lyrics that might as well be poetry, and surprisingly somewhat of a hipster singer-songwriter aesthetic that's not distasteful, at least to me. Rather bittersweet as a whole, this one is, with high highs and a very low low. In case you ever wanted to visit Illinois, listening to the soul of the place ought to do just as well.
