Why are Princess Candace's eyelashes different from everpony else in the crystal empire? Is she a racial minority, ruling other a different ethnicity? Nearly every crystal pony has those smooth, single-stroke eyelashes, even King Sombra had this trait, but Candace has eyes like any other pony.

I think this came from a book, but Cadance is not a crystal pony. She came from a small village where she performed a small feat that made her worthy of becoming a princess. Whether or not that was a village up in the north with the crystal pony ethnicity (although interbred with other ponies), that's the case. You see, the inhabitants of the Crystal Empire had been trapped in a nonexistent state until the curse was uplifted, so their genes remained isolated.

You know what's ALSO weird? That John Elway can be the greatest man alive, AND Football at the same time.

Once John Elway threw a hail mary from Canterlot to the Crystal Empire, and while he was there they tried to trade the Crystal Heart for Football but were denied because there is only one of those and there is the grand multitude of Footballs. The Crystal Pones offered up Candy-ass as a bribe, but John Elway came outta Rainbow Dash so he said "Offensive Foul" and so they all had to move the border of the Empire back 15 yards.
