I know this board is meant to be a maymay, but I'm curious, how many of us here actually enjoy watching or playing sportsball?
Personally I watch football obsessively, and I grew up playing it. Not a huge fan of other sports, but I follow all of my local professional teams and usually listen to their baseball/basketball games on the radio.
I know professional sports are just bread and circuses given to us by Jews, but I can't help having at least a few guilty pleasures.

I've always been kind of a sports casual. I've got way too many autistic hobbies to be able to follow sports the way some people do, but I enjoy watching baseball games and football games, and as a result of mlpol I'm probably going to start following the Broncos' season this year.

I've actually gotten into audiobooks lately so I can "read" while I do other shit. I wish I was like the Don and only slept three hours a night.

I've started doing that too, actually. I have a driving job and I'm in my car for hours at a time. I've gotten bored just listening to music all the time and I always wish I had more time to read, so I decided to start downloading audiobooks and listening to them as I drive.

I can't listen to them when I drive if it's night, it always puts me to sleep.. I like to listen to them in my headphones while I just go about my day. While I'm cooking, cleaning, shopping, ect. What are you listening to currently? I'm slogging my way through LoTR right now. Haven't read them since I was in grade school and I want to look at them in the political light they were meant to be experienced in.

Generally any audiobook of a "classic" will be read by somebody who is a good narrator. Smaller, more obscure books will generally have shittier production value and a less experienced narrator. Also, I tend to like fantasy when it comes to audiobooks because it gives the author a lot of material to work with. Different voices and accents, reading poems, speaking weird mythical languages, ect

I'm actually going through this list as part of my self improvement project, in the past I've always mostly read fiction so I think it's about time to start educating myself. I've done Republic and The Prince so far, probably going to tackle Leviathan next. I'm also slogging my way through The Story of Civilization by Will Durant.
I might also try and snag some classic novels to do in between.

Also, I found this to be very interesting, did you know he wasn't even short, in comparison to other men during his time? That was all a result of extremely effective propaganda. He was around 5'7, which was pretty average for men in that time period.

I've listened to a few of the "homemade" sounding audiobooks, where it is literally some random person reading an entire book and then posting it to youtube. I actually sometimes find those oddly calming, it's like someone in the room actually reading to you, instead of just an audio performance.
