The fuck happened to their shitty tag system anyway? I seem to recall that you used to be able to just type in "Twilight" or "Pinkie" and the alias system would know what you were talking about. Now you have to fully enter every name, which is a giant pain in the ass, especially when you don't know a full name, or even if you do, you don't know if/where there are any spaces etc. It also bugs the shit out of me that they haven't just aliased Buttercup for Pear Butter.

Why would we want to stand alone? The bigger issue here isn't creating a system for the content, it would be hosting the content.
Images quickly add up to a lot of data being hosted.
But that said, asshats like Smiling Pony seem to be able to do it, why couldn't we, MLPOL, as a community do it too?
