Does anyone ever wonder what the story is behind some of the pics you see on imageboards? Like, what happened here? Obviously she dropped the spaghetti sauce, you don't need to be a detective to figure that one out. Perhaps she tripped over the cat. Perhaps she was carrying the spaghetti sauce from the stove to the counter, in order to apply the sauce to the pasta, when suddenly Mittens appears out of nowhere and begins to run circles around her legs, causing her to trip and spill an entire meal's worth of spaghetti sauce all over her nice, clean low-grade linoleum floor.

It obviously upset her, so she sits down on the floor and sobs helplessly. Then, in comes her husband, who, rather than rushing to help or console her, or even maybe get her a mop so she can get started on cleaning up the mess she made, he takes his phone out and snaps a picture.

Who are these people? What must their married life be like? Is this woman clinically depressed because she has an uncaring husband who photographs all of her most embarrassing moments? Does it bother her that Mittens the cat, who just moments ago ruined a perfectly good meal, and whose companionship is likely her only source of comfort in such times, clearly does not give two fucks about the mess he just made, and is instead focusing his attention on figuring out how to retrieve the lost meatball from under the refrigerator?

It boggles the mind, /sp/. It boggles the mind.
