I don't know how moderation works or how feasible any of this is, just a few uninformed suggestions.
-mods receive report notifications on their phones (could get annoying)
-mods click something once to activate banhammer, click thread/post to immediately remove and ban the poster
-create forbidden posts, so if some huge wall of text is being copy-pasted you can add it to a list of posts that result in an autoban
-shadowbanning, where you're banned but you have no idea because you're the only one that sees your posts. Seems like it would be hard to implement on a chan, and I wouldn't want them stealing our gets, but it's devious as fuck

we dont get them on our phones but we do get notifications of reports earlier today we had about 75 on the list from users

There are a few shortcuts staff members have access to for example i can hit a button and spoiler a image/post delete a file/post along with a few other helpful things

we have a few things in place. We do have the ability to put up filters for copypastas that can give a temporary ban automatically.
the issue earlier today with users having trouble posting was us experimenting with our tools, and trying to implement a few of those suggestions

that's a good point but getting new janitors is dangerous and requires vetting I have something like six mods and two janitors and interviewing new ones takes time and not enough high staff is usually available for interview

What if mods just stickied any thread that they deemed genuine as soon as they see it? Or rather gave it some new invisible quality that makes it so it won't 404 in the face of anything but another protected thread. Then if we got raided in the wee hours of the morn by three autists, with forty proxies each, and EVERY staff member happened to be asleep, they still wouldn't be able to do shit besides kill their own threads and maybe one or two threads that were never approved.
