Not sure how feasible it would be with this site's infrastructure, but I think considering the refugee situation a lot of ruffled feathers could be saved with the addition of two boards:
One dedicated entirely to SFW ponies, and one for EQG containment.
I'll admit, this comes from a position where I dislike pornos and despise EQG, but I think it's pretty viable to avoid some otherwise inevitable crashouts, which is especially important now that our little horse cult is so suddenly fractured.
What is thought of requiring NSFW content to be spoilered?
>>9318I wouldn't mind, but I think it would be obnoxious for porno enjoyers trying to view their threads.
>>9318I think this would be a great solution. I think this should only be a requirement for NSFW OP pics though. If you click on an NSFW thread, you should know what you're in for. I just don't want to have to see porn I don't like when I'm just browsing the catalog.
>>9318If limited to /poner/, that could work however you won't find much support for making that policy on /mlpol/.
I think a better compromise would be to make /poner/ a blue board, and if you want porn you have to abide by the 20% more strict rule enforcement!
>>9324I think politics enjoyers would take some offense to their board being the designated faphouse.
>>9325I don't mind the occasional ponut being posted during political discussion, but I understand not everyone would appreciate such.
>>9321>>9325Am OP btw, just phonefagging now
>>9328Me neither, I just mean that if /poner/ went blue it would mean /mlpol/ would be the de facto clop board.
>>9325You misunderstand.
/poner/ would become a blue board
/mlpol/ would remain red, and all the existing rules would be in place and enforced, and probably to a greater degree because
/sp/ is the degenerate faphouse
>>9334Oh, that makes more sense.
Proposal:
Add a rule that would let a thread OP on /poner/ decide if the thread is going to be NSFW or SFW.
Ideally this would be done through a change in code where upon thread creation an OP checks a box, and each thread would signify that. This could be added retroactively by moderation. Then perhaps a user can have an option to filter all NSFW checked threads. Pupper says this feature could not be in effect until tomorrow at the very earliest.
>>9342Pupper being the expert on what can be implemented and how easily,
>>9343This
>>9342Good idea. I think this would satisfy everyone.
Would anyone else be interested in a /diy/ board?
>>9702That fits under the umbrella of /ub/ - Uberhengst (Over-horse, a play on Ubermench)
Let's do some fancy mathematics:
>(red/blue) x (mlpol/pony) x (flags/flagless) = 2^3 = 8 boards
R = Red (not-safe-for-work) vs. B = Blue (safe-for-work)
M = Mlpol vs. P = Pony
F = Flags and IDs vs. N = No flags (flagless) and no IDs
>RMF = red mlpol flags
/mlpol/, as it stands right now
>BPN = blue pony flagless
4chan's /mlp/
/pony/, if /poner/ isn't retroactively made 100% sfw outside (catalog) and inside
>RPN = red pony flagless
/mlp/ + /trash/, we'll call it /clop/
No fillies.
>BMN = blue mlpol flagless
/qa/, as it isn't right now
>BMF = blue mlpol flags
/mlpol/'s sfw clone
>RMN = red mlpol flagless
/mlp/ + /b/? >inb4 /bony/ or /mlb/
>BPF = blue pony flags
/mlp/ + /int/?
>RPF = red pony flags
/clop/ + /int/?
Suggestions? I really like /mlpol/ vs. /qa/ and /pony/ vs. /clop/ distinctions.
