guys a question
<even if 4chan get back to work again , would you guys still posting here or you will go back to the main land /mlp/?
or will you just simply continuing to post here?
re-posting for grammar fixation cause i am retarded
just bare with me...i have autism
While I really hate the way the /mlp/ was run into ground by barbieniggers, G5 shit and "one post by op" threads, at least there was some interesting threads worth reading one in a while. Nhnb is really annoying with their turbo shit captcha working maybe once in twenty times. And while I do love the amount of freedom and how nice the whole site is designed, I am not fan of the subhuman /trash/ tier posting randomly shitting up threads.
I will probably still stick around, but I still missed my bros.
>>7701maybe this site becomes its own thing
but i agree /mlp/ had its own community of people who kinda known each other
<i mean why not using both 4chan and mlpol?that would not be a bad idea , i like the UI of this site
--
i would still be here even if 4chan gets back
The most frequent complaint I've seen about the bunker chans is the slow rate of activity. I can guarantee that everybody will flock back to /mlp/ just because it's faster and there's more new threads and more opportunities to shitpost to keep their zoomie dopamine receptors firing.
>>7703honestly the new sites are more active
but i guess only time will tell us
>>7703Unfortunately for everypone I will be staying once /mlp/ is back up.
>>7694 As shit as it is, 4chan is still the only place where we can hope to get newfags and not completely disappear.
I do prefer the vibe here and on NHNB, but it is what it is.
>>7714>the only place where we can hope to get newfagsKInd reminder that it is thanks to a massive influx of newfags in 2011 or 12 (and the event of 2015 16) that 4chan became cancer.
Newfags are good, but too many newfags at once ruin a board.
>>7715>Newfags are good, but too many newfags at once ruines a board.Wasn't that the most common issue with cultural survival? Too many newcomers overwrite the traditions, but small numbers of newcomers make the culture stagnant?
> KInd reminder that it is thanks to a massive influx of newfags in 2011 or 12 (and the event of 2015 16) that 4chan became cancer
September 17 to November 15, 2011
The influx of newfags around this time can most likely be attributed to the OWS movement.
2016-2017
as far as 2015-16 goes you may want to be careful to not wrongfully attribute the shills' shenanigans to the newfags. In 2017 the old US elite realised how powerful 4chan was as a (grassroots) political powertool. Around this time you saw how much government spending went into researching the containment of "fake news" and such. This resulted in shill campaigns and astroturfing. So a significant part of the increase in low quality and intentionally disruptive traffic (concensus cracking), was due to state backed psyops and general glowniggery.
>>7723Yup.
Boards need newfags, just not too many newfags at once.
How did 4chin get users in the past?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI_RIFR8Tiw [Embed] Why not both? Going back to check MLPOL and NHNB after finishing all the new threads on /mlp/ sounds quite comfy.
>>7701>blaming "barbieniggers" and G5 for everythingWhen will you learn that they did nothing wrong and the fault is your own and of other people doing the same thing as you? Instead of endless bitching, you and the others should be doing something productive. If you can't do it, then at least stop being such a huge bitch and a drag.
>>77254chan became cancer way before that, newfag. Remember Habbo Hotel? No you don't.
This is a great place, there are many filters to the point of getting to the posters here
Notwithstanding the already great filter that is the use of imageboards by itself nowadays, the percentage of people actually engaged in /mlp/ that aren't turned off from the whole /pol/ish stuff creates a community of likeminded people to the point of familiarity, the venn diagram makes it so. Not having to skim through the 97% bots, shills, 1pbtp and non-lurker newfaggotry of 4chan is also very welcome, specially from /pol/ ofc
By nature, /mlpol/ is a much nicher group of posters, I think it is quite cozy
I don't have as much time to interact with boards as I had years back, my day-to-day obligations took my constant f5ing of threads away, so a nicely-paced going board like /mlpol/ and /poner/ to check every night after waging is pretty much all I could want from FiM
I'll be happy if the traffic stays as is, but even if it declines when /mlp/ comes back it'll still probably stay way above the downright /ded/ it was before the 4channening, simply by virtue of many finding this place as a bunker in the first place
I'll definitely stay here for longer, hope other anons do so too
>>7694I'm sticking around, I'll check it out to see how the scene's going, but /mlpol/ is better in every way.
I'll still go on /an/ though.
>>7737If there is a way to prevent discordniggeres from fucking up board with their obviously planed out raids, do tell me, since as far I'm aware the mods and jannies are pro barbieshitters posters (I know first hand from getting multiple warnings from reporting their obviously amazing/flooding posts in the threads).
Reminder that 4chan's gone for good as we witness the end of an era.
>>7701the twitranny janny ruined the board
I don't wanna leave /mlpol/ and NHNB ponybros. Returning to 4chan is gonna be so fucking weird after the hack shitshow.
>>7760Why would you want to go back?
>>77494chan ended some time around 2009 or 10, but moot refused to let-go.
Hirsohimoot and the hack were just the nails in the coffin.
It was unrealistic to expect 4chan to last this long any way, 2003 was a long, long time ago.
>>7715>>7725Don't forget the second scruffening, where fags got spread far and wide across the fandom, making so a bunch of fags decided to check out the board. Quite a few of the threads I liked got flooded with autists fighting to change them and anons just let go, leaving said threads dead or like barren islands.
Anonfilly herself too was never the same, dunno how the discord bunker fared as I left that when it became openly gay, but it was even worse at large with the fandom almost making her for a trans symbol, if fags hadn't fought for her to keep her personality
almost intact.
basketweaving club is back online
>>7694If you take a ship, and replace all it's parts, is it still the same ship?
If 4chan dies, and something that looks more or less the same is brought back, is it still 4chan?
Yes and no.
In order to be part of the larger chan community (4cc, rewatch/gaming streams, etc.) it's inevitable that there will be a return to 4chan, even for me.
It's inevitable for anyone participating in the wider/greater chan community, which this has made all of us more aware of. You can't be active in the 4chan cup, or the rewatch/Videogame streams, or plenty else. So, with best wishes to anons who wish to go home, thank you for coming.
This is my lebensraum. It's been incredibly heartwarming to - adverse circumstances aside - see this board serve as a shelter and a place of refuge for anons; It's like seeing your child be the stong person at the funeral. Whether anons decide to stay indefinitely, add us to their board rotations, or leave and never come back I'll quote Twilight at the end of the movie: "I hope you'll stay
visit, more frens are definitely merrier."
Goodbye mlpol. it's been fun.
>>7747Of course you're getting warnings for reporting non-rule breaking content retard. Fuck off to nhnb if you care that much about your boogeyman.
>>7701>>7747There is a tiny amount of nooticing. Here is the jist.
nhnb was an overreaction, and those like you generally can't separate normal fans from trolls masquerading as a real fans. The balkanization and strawman attacks is what they wanted, for you they do not look like they're actual fans of mlp, just using it to stir the pot like the days of /b/ posting ponies and that's why they like pony content.
>EQG is allowed here, and people don't get pissed off about it enough so it's not being weaponized as it was on /mlp/. They don't know the lay of the land yet, and could get slapped for making too many bait threads like when a stripedfag made a second blacked thread. >The striped posting was intended to shit up the place instead, but it was short lived after people stopped biting and hid the thread, and didn't bite striped bait in threads. Ergo: It's not currently the go-to, which must be disappointing to trolls who expected more salt from muh nazi board and tried to stoke the flames further off and on site>Gross out anthro is currently being test-run as a trolls weapon. You can see this in futa/lgbt/trans baiting, hyper scat/fat, and just posting anthro suddenly and consistently in pony threads showing up out of the blue. They know nearly everyone on /mlp/ hated anthro and it's the bigger fracture-point to exploit. >>7732>>7741>>7780hmm..interesting to hear all of you
thanks for sharing your opinions yeah agreed having this site +
/mlp/ is good for gaining more ponyfags to talk to
i'll stick around as well
but said
''if'' cause i am not really sure if 4chan coming back is something that gonna happen sooner or later
or maybe even neverbut that is a possibility
so far i personally having a good time with
/poner/ no heart feeling tho if any of you want to leave this site or nah , it is your choice at the end
but i really want to see this site to gain more popularity
idk if /mlpol/ or nazi shit would throw off some people or nah but i will be see more people here
I'm not going back there if it's just going to be the same faggot mods and tranny jannies abusing their power again like nothing happened. I also don't miss the culture of constant demoralization and rage baiting. I hadn't used /mlp/ in years and the only thing I miss about it is Senran posting.
>>7909yeah censoring and silencing pisses me off
Isn't it like Office Space? The only difference is that reward for you is only sometimes genuinely talking to people?
>>7931yeah kinda , it is like social medias like discord telegram etc but you just don't know who are the people you're talking with or is it just the same guy you are talking to with different names
>it is just one schizo anon who just keeps talking to himself over and over >>7827Just like calling out the jew without Early Life, it takes years of experience to be able to tell the fan from the faker, the faggot from the raider. And on the rare occasion that some EQG-loving, trans flag-waving, striped-posting retard wasn't actually a tourist, you could simply conclude they were brown.
