A two-headed snake with bat wings flew over the streets of Canterlot.
An arrow was released and made a large hole in the creature on impact. The monster crash on the streets below and was consumed by flames until there was nothing more than ashes left which soon dispersed in the wind. The flames had lit up an otherwise dark night.
”We stand in awe to things beyond our comprehension,” white unicorn mare levitating a bow in her golden magic whispered.
A teal young mare let her pencil scrible down notes of what the teacher was saying. Soon the bell rang and she began to gather her stuff as she was poked in the side by something small. She twirled around and found a yellow pegasus with a fluffy short brown mane and a bright smile on her lips.
The teal unicorns face went from looking a bit sour to showing off some teeth as she grinned.
”What do yo want surprize?” the teal mare asked as she combed back some blue and black hair strands from her view and hung them over her ear.
Surprize tossed the pencil up and managed to catch its bud with her nose and started to blance it while she talked.
”Oh, don't be like that Iswirl. Today is the day. You gotta come!” She bobbed her head to make hte pencil jump, bit hold of the pencil in its fall through the air, and then tossed it with a curv into her pencil case on the bench.
Iswirl rolled her eyes.
”I already told you that I don't care about hte wonderbolts.”
”But come on. You haven't even been on one of their shows before. How can you tell?”
”Because I don't fly like you do.”
Surprize made huge lip smack with her lips, sounding as if someone unplugged a source of vacuum.
”Wha- hehe,” siad Iswirl.
”But please. This is the wonderbolts we're talking about. You think they got no earth pony or unicorn fans,” said Surprizeand emphaized the last part by nudging Iswirl horn.
”Look.” Iswirl held upa hoof. ”It might be fun-”
”Will. I garantee it.”
”But. I got an exam comming up and so do you.” She pointed at the yellow pegasus that was about to say something but then she pulled up her hoof again. ”However, I get that you would put away some free time, even with an upcoming exam to go on an event you know you're going to enjoy. But I have no garantee that it will be that way for me and therefore I don't wanna waste time on it. And also-” She waggled her hoof in the air again. ”-there porbably no tickets left to buy.”
”No, they sold out weeks ago,” said Surprize as Iswirl gave her a there-you-go look. ”But I have a spare.” Iswirl looked surpirsed. ”My dad was going to go with me but ponis in the weather factory has called in sick so he had to work today.”
”Oh. Do you know if they were sick or if they were-” Iswirl coughed in her hoof. ”Sick?”
Surpize looked a bit sad.
”Oh, my dad said that he thought one of them might be faking it but I don't know.”
Iswirl gave her a pitying nod.
”Anyway, with his spare you can some instead. Come on! Please.” She leaned forward and gave her two big pleading eyes that seemed to tremble like jelly next to a step dancing T-rex.
”But I...” Izwirl drifted off, leaned back from Surprise's invading face, and looked away.
”Alright alright. I'll do it,” she grumbled.
”Yes!” Surpize's wings fluttered and she flew up a bit from the floor before landing again.
Having packed her saddlebag, Iswirl began to move to exit the classroom.
”But under one condition.”
”Oh-okay. What is it?”
Iswirl smirked at her.
”You will study with me during the whole weekend.”
”No. Come on. Well, I guess if I cane choose my own level-”
”You can't. And I'm gonna thrust so much information into your brain that it will cum!”
”AAAAAAHHHHHH!”
Strong wind made Izwirl's and Surprize's manes flow to the side as three wonderbolts swooped over the audience heads.
”Wooo-aah!” shouted Izwirl with her eyes wide and her mouth opened.
”I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU!!” Surprized shouted at her, even though she in the seat next to her, because the cheering of the audience was so loud. Izwirl realise that next time she would bring earpluggs because this was such a place were one could develop tinnitus.
”And then Fleetfoot was all like BLAM!” Surprize went from flying in the air to dropping to laying flat on her stomach on the ground. ”And Spitefire like WHAM!” She flew up again and then made very sharp turn in the air as she said the last word. ”And then Soarin was like... Dayum.” Surprize licked herself around the mouth before she finsihed that with a lip smack.
Izwirl chuckled and shook her head in her hoof.
The pegasus smiled sheepishy at the unicorns chuckles.
”But I was right weren't I? You did have a good time?” Surprized asked as she nugded the other pony in the shoulder.
”Mm-mm. I did enjoy myself and I was so impressed by the tricks the preformed that I wouldn't mind tagging along with you for the next show either.” said Izwirl as the corners of Surpirze's mouths seemed to dig up her cheeks like bugs bunny.
”See you should always listen to me. I'm always right.” Surprize transitioned from smiling in her face to snuggle against her neck as they walked.
A teal hoof slowly pushed her away but she still had a small tense smile on her face as if she wasn't sure if she wanted to get mad at the other pony or laugh.
”Heh. Yeah, we'll see about that.” She continue to smile her tense smile as she shook her head as Surprize look grinning on.
Izwirl sucked on the straw to her chocolate milkshake that he held in her azure glowing magic, which lit up the streets a little due to them having fallen in a bit of a shadow as sunset was upon them and orange reign supreme in the sky.
After a little slurp, Izwirl began to smirk.

The peggasus looked gloomly at her before she poke out her tongue.
As they looked at eachother, Izwirl noticed something on the streets behind the pegasus. Out of a well pour what looked like black cloud of swarming bugs, however, whatever it was its shape turned into several tentacles that began to lift the rest of the mass out of the sewer.
”Well, I can some around ten okay but I want to sleep in-” the pegasus began but was interupted.
”Do you see that,” asked the unicorn as she pointed towards the black mass which had gained more tencles now that it had pulled more of itself out.
The pegasus looked in the direction of the mass then back at her friend.
She smiled.
”Very funny but I-” she interupted herself as she saw that her friend's facial expression was too extreme to be an act.
She looked back again to the black mass that now towered over nearby houses and then back again to Izwirl.
”What is it that you're looking at?” Surprize asked.
”What are you talking about?” whined Izwirl as she wide-eyed began to grab hold of the pegasus. ”We gotta get out of here.”
The sound of three whistlings could be heard after one another and Izwirl caught the glimpse of three burning arrows flying above her and sinking into the flesh of the monster. In the next second, she heard a loud bang and the black mass erupted into a pyre taller than neighboring houses. After a brief moment though the pyre had burnt out and the ashes left dispersed in the wind.
Surprize looked shocked on her friend who seemed to be spazzing out for no reason. She followed her gaze again only to find the empty street behind her.
”Are you feeling okay?” asked Surprize but she didn't get an answer because Izwirl had now turned her head towards her direction adn seem to be looking for something on the roofs of nearby buildings.
Arrows that means someone fired them, right? Thought Izwirl as her eyes darted over the buildings.
Then she found something. A silhouette of a pony mare wearing some kinf o cloak which hem blew in the wind. Only for a second was she there before the pony jumped out of sight.
”Slap me with a horse dong and call me, Peen Stroke. What the fuck was that? Crazy, right?” Izwirl looked over to her friend who was eying her carefully.
”What? Did something happen? I didn't see anything special,” the other mare said.
”What do you mean?” The unicorn pointed towards the well which lid laid on the sidewalk next to it. ”Did you not see that thing? That monster?”
”Monster?” The pegasus gave her a sideways glance. ”Maybe you just thought you saw something. Where did you see whatever-you-saw?”
”Where?! Didn't you see that huge black thing just now crawling out of that open well as well as exploding!” She shouted and
”I-I-” Surprize gave her a deadpanned look. ”Look, this isn't funny. Okay, you're actually scarying me a little...”
”But come on. You must have seen it. It was right there!”
Surprize back away from her.
”This is really not funny. Can we please drop it?” Surprize said as she visibly cranged at her friend.
She was looking at that thing she most have seen it. How is it possible that she didn't? Thought Izwirl.
”Okay, let's just move on,” Izwirl said after a moment of silence. ”I guess I just hallucinated for some reason. Crazy. It look so real.”
”Oh, is that what happend?” Surprize was back on her side looking worridly over her friend.
”Yeah, it must have been a hallucination. But I don't know why though.” Izwirl began to rub her templete. ”Sweet Celestia. With hallucinations like that it might be dangerous to walk about to much at all. I wonder what I kind of chemical I have mange to consume.”
”Perhaps, if you don't mind, it could be a unicorn thing. Maybe your kind has disease that makes you hallucinate or something,” Surprize said as she held a hoof up to her lips.
”Don't say that. That sounds actually worse then just having eaten something bad.”
Surprize giggled.
”Yeah, you're right. But hopefully it was just something bad you ate. However, I really do think you need to go home and rest. I'll walk you there incase you would get anymore hallucinations.” Surprize smiled at her and Izwirl smiled back.
”Thanks, mate.” The unicorn leaned in and nuzzled her. It was received well.
Dusk had begun to settle as she waved goobye to Surprize and entered her home. Her mom came into the hall when she entered.
”Oh, you're back. The dinner is just about done. Can you go and get Surge? He is probably up in his room and playing,” her mom said.
”Oh, yeah. No problem mom,” Iswirl nodded.
Her mom was about to leave when she turned back again.
”Oh, and of course I want to hear all about the show later.”
Izwirl let out a chuckle.
”It was cool and all but it was mostlly just pegaus who can fly good, fly good. Not much to say really.”
Her mom waved dismissively her spatula that she held in her green magic.
”Eh, don't be like that. Of course, there is more. Now get your brother so we can start eating. Gotta check on elemental, he's helping me today. Teaching him how to cook.”
So still didn't manage to finish the chapter. Will do so tomorrow.

After small delay, her mother realized that she was refering to that time she was teaching Izwirl to cook. He giggled.
”Yes, of course. But we're actually cook spaghetti and veggie balls with some sauce.”
Her mom walked back to the kitchen and affte dumping her school bag in her room, Izwirl knocked on her brother's.
”What is it?” a colt's voice came muffled through the door.
”Mom says dinner's ready. Come down or you'll starve,” Izwirl said as she grinned at the last word.
”Yeah, yeah. I'm comming, gotta do something first.”
”Mmm-kay. Just so you know.”
She went down again and after a moments waiting, in which time her brother had managed to come down, they began to eat. During dinner her mom asked if she were training later at Silver Star's dualist academy but Izwirl told her that she had taken a small break now that she had a exam on the way. After getting herself bloated with spaghetti and talking with her mom about the hallucination she had experinced, she moved up to her own room. As she opened the door to her room as rectangle of moonlight lit the the floor in the dark room before she switch on the light.
She grabbed the book from her nightstand and began to read. It was titled, ”Spazz Magicous: A young unicorn king on a mad quest to rule the world,” and was the current fantasy novel that she was reading and would later, after it was finished be placed in the row of other fantasy books in her book shelf.
Suddenly, a white unicorn with black cape entered theroom through one of its walls as if the walls had only been an illusion.
”What the fuck!” said Izwirl as she pulled her book down. ”Where did you come from?”
”Its strange. Its like my senses are being jammed. Could the shadows have devloped somekind of jamming mechanism?” the white unicorn asked to herself as she scratch her chin.
”Hello! Nag! Why are you my room? Answer me?”
”Something is up that's for sure.”
”My hoof will be up your ass if you do not answer me.” Izwirl had risen from her bed and now stood nex to the mare, who turned her head towards the other unicorn in shock.
”You can see me?” she asked.
”No, you're invisible.” She said mockingly. ”What are you doing in my house?”
”How strange.” The mare began to inspect the other mare and even went so far as to touch the others horn but her hoof was swatted away quickly.
”What are you doing?” asked Izwirl irritated.
”You look normal and your magic is above average but that shouldn't matter, mmm. For some unexplained reason you can see me?”
Izwirl shook her hoof in the air at her while looking pissed off.
”Look. I had just about enough of you. If don't tell me what you're doing here, I'll toss your boney plot out!”
The mare seemed only a bit displeaased by that as she stared back.
”Well I guess you don't have much to say then,” Izwirl said as her magic began to surround the other unicorn.
The unicorn in cape rolled her eyes and the azure cover of magic Izwirl brought upon her burst like a colorful ballon when pierced by a needle.
”Wha...” Izwirl said as she was completely dumbfounded that she broke off her spell so easily.
A yellow magic thread shoot out from the other unicorn's horn and looped itself around Izwirl's body. In second the thread was gone and the teal unicorn was bonded in a cacoon of heavy black chains.
”Ahh! Hey!” Blue energy eminated from the teal unicorn's horn but in the next moment it was like the flame had been put out by invisible water and her horn let off a steam trail. ”Huh?” Her eyes peer up at her horn and then at the other unicorn. Another brief flash of blue appeared around her horn before it also was put out. She stared shooked at the unicorn.
The white unicorn looked pleased.
”Now then. I'm what is called a Soul Peasent. Living ponies are not suppose to be able to see me so how come you can? Do you have any ideas? Are you special in someway,” she leaned and continue her inspection from before.
”Unhoof me!” said Izwirl as the white pony spread her eyelids apart to see her eye more clearly and she turn her face away from her.
”I have heard about ponies that can see spirits but they are rare. I thought you might ben something else...”
”See spirits? Like ghosts? I have never seen a ghost,” Izwirl said the word ghost in a mocking way. ”But I see an ass who walts into my room and then chained me up.”
The area between the white unicorn's eyebrows creased as she looked down the the pony below.

”Ough! How vile and filthy your mouth is. I think I heard enough of you,” the standing pony said and as shewaved with her hoof, the end of the bundle of chain transformed into cloth and covered the mouth of Izwirl.
”Mmmmph!”
”That's what you get for being impolite. Now to sedate your doubts.” She poked one of her of her hoofs through the wardrobe's door which acted as if it wasn't there. A ring of light was around her hoof where it shoved through the surface of the door.
”Can a normal unicorn do that?” she asked.
Izwirl looked surpized and actually stopped her struggling. The white unicorn removed the cloth in her mouth.
”Do you believe me now?” she asked.
”Yeah, I guess I do. It's a bit to take in...” Izwirl said as she still looked at the wardrobe's door. ”Wait, if I can see spirits, then that explains what I saw earlier.”
The white mare gave her a sideways glance.
”What did you see earlier?”
”I don't even know.” Izwirl looked a bit scared as she remembered the creature. ”It was huge black thing. Like a monster that was killed by what I think was flaming arrows being shot by someone pony.”
The other mare looked a bit surpirzed.
”That pony was me. Huh, so you were there. That thing was a shadow, they are spirits who have escaped Tartarus or have yet to go to Tartarus. Is this your first time experincing something like this?”
”Well, now that you mention it. I have had a few other experinces where I have seen things that I though was impossible.” A few images flashed before Izwirl's eyes. ”But I never took much stock in them. Just figured I had been seeing things but now...”
Baaaaammmm!!!
”What a? What was that?” Izwirl asked after aloud bang had shaken the entire house.
”Yeah, and I'm a Yak's toilet. Do you think I swallow any kind of crap?” Izwirl yelled at her.
”Ough! How vile and filthy your mouth is. I think I heard enough of you,” the standing pony said and as shewaved with her hoof, the end of the bundle of chain transformed into cloth and covered the mouth of Izwirl.
”Mmmmph!”
”That's what you get for being impolite. Now to sedate your doubts.” She poked one of her of her hoofs through the wardrobe's door which acted as if it wasn't there. A ring of light was around her hoof where it shoved through the surface of the door.
”Can a normal unicorn do that?” she asked.
Izwirl looked surpized and actually stopped her struggling. The white unicorn removed the cloth in her mouth.
”Do you believe me now?” she asked.
”Yeah, I guess I do. It's a bit to take in...” Izwirl said as she still looked at the wardrobe's door. ”Wait, if I can see spirits, then that explains what I saw earlier.”
The white mare gave her a sideways glance.
”What did you see earlier?”
”I don't even know.” Izwirl looked a bit scared as she remembered the creature. ”It was huge black thing. Like a monster that was killed by what I think was flaming arrows being shot by someone pony.”
The other mare looked a bit surpirzed.
”That pony was me. Huh, so you were there. That thing was a shadow, they are spirits who have escaped Tartarus or have yet to go to Tartarus. Is this your first time experincing something like this?”
”Well, now that you mention it. I have had a few other experinces where I have seen things that I though was impossible.” A few images flashed before Izwirl's eyes. ”But I never took much stock in them. Just figured I had been seeing things but now...”

”What a? What was that?” Izwirl asked after aloud bang had shaken the entire house.
