i mean, you can reintroduce the good stuff from later seasons without the need of twilicorn, like maud, the kirins, the hypogriphs and even the pillars(with HEAVY retcons to their lore, maybe even leave them in the past but tell the tale of their adventures... maybe through a memorial and someone old pony is telling the tales to the mane6(no glamgloom, huzzah!) or the cmc?)

Good until they kept pushing her because she was popular. For Maud-centered episodes, there should have only been one. Also, no Sheldon pony.

More interesting redesigns. Kirins feel really lazy; could have been something cool like first file-related, also, less faggy "no talk" shit.

Could have been a better, actually somewhat original Romeo and Juliet-style story instead of the stupid shit with AJ's not-parents (makes no sense in the context of https://mlp.fandom.com/wiki/Family_Appreciation_Day and overly cliched). Also, the Movie was utter dogshit. Should not have been mixed with seaponies, should have been two separate entities.

Great villain, needs to either stay one or needed a much improved backstory, and should take a backseat like Trixie if she does get reformed, instead of being number 7. Also, she's a bit too OP for a regular unicorn, and the season 5 opener needs to be edited to fit a better understanding of the assmarks in; Larson never seemed to really understand how they function. Despite that, I liked her chemistry with Trixie.

It is not this mythical place that is partially in another dimension. Its an empty fucking room with a bunch of basement that ponies are in control of. It is a fucking prison andreally not an extrodinare one either. Talk about not delivering one expectation. It is not like that ever sicne we knew Tartarus was canon there has been fantazied to death by the fandom.
This goes for a lot of thing with these season that if they were anyway just gonna let us down then don't write about it.

I feel like the whole power boost bullshit could've been explained better by having her study forbidden magic. Starlight being driven out of her town could be the catalyst for her to start finding darker kinds of spells to use against Twilight.
In the end Twilight can't defeat her, but instead shows that she'll turn into something ugly if she continues.
