Old wall didn't stop shit, any druggie with a pair of Adidas could jog across the border whenever they felt like it. Although this new wall looks flimsy it's supposedly resistant to vehicle impacts and cutting tools and comes with lights, movement sensors and better patrol roads. HUGE improvement.

Never mind the US, I wish my country could be an island. I think it's time for Sweden to cut ties with Denmark (and the EU, but especially fucking Denmark) which continues to let immigrants pass through into our country. Can't do much about Norway unfortunately which is stuck to our side like some strange siamese twin but we can definitely dig a huge moat in the north to disconnect from Finland and Russia because you know refugees are gonna try that road next. Second on my wish-list is a great Chinese wall around the entire country from which I can rain down arrows and hot oil on any would be invaders.

No. The 2016 election changed a lot for me. I still hate Trump a little for it. And every time we get some baby-step piece of progress, only to have even that slip between our fingers like sand, it's nothing short of demoralizing.
