This means that the neo-marxist wave is cresting and crashing against popular resistance. This is at least the second country to reject it recently, the first being Italy, and Frankly Ireland and Australia are the only countries I can think of to vote in favor of it in referendums. On September 6, 2018, five judges of the Indian Supreme Court ruled that the nationwide sodomy law was unconstitutional

To put this into comparison, the Indian House voted against repealing the same law (section 377) 71 to 24 in 2015. I think there was another earlier decision giving transgenders the right to whatever gender they want (or a third gender), but I don't recall.
