Look at his Twitter: https://twitter.com/pnehlen

He's an open white nationalist, he wants the Wall to keep out both Hispanics and Muslims, and he's even hinted at the (((Griffons))). He can meme too. What's not to love? Is he /ourguy/ or is he controlled opposition like Spencer?

Part of me wants him to unseat that scum Paul Ryan. However, I'm afraid that he could become a boogeyman used to turn mainstream conservatives (who are quite bluepilled on Griffons) against us. Nevermind that he is actually logical and has a sense of humor, they'll throw vitriol at him just as we make fun of Diane Feinstein. It may be better to have a relative moderate (like Mr. T) who appeals to the broad strata but is nonetheless labeled as a Nazi, thereby driving them to the right. Also, Rand Paul has had surprising influence in Washington all the while hiding his power level.

Thoughts?

I was never fond of the "/ourguy/" meme.
What's this guy do? What's he running for?

/ourguy/ is just /pol/speak for being aligned with us and having the goal of the 14 words. That's it, just a political ally who's not a cuck or controlled opposition.

He's a Wisconsian manufacturing exec who's running for the House. He's in the same district as Paul Ryan and wants to unseat him, a lofty goal for someone new to politics. Trump accomplished even more, though, so who knows.

He’s pushing to cover major social media outlets under the First Amendment in clear terms, in addition to everything OP said. Unless something comes up, I say he’s /ourguy/.

This guy actually looks pretty good to me. It's impossible to predict right now what the landscape will look like in 2024 so I have no idea if someone like this will make a viable candidate for president, but I think there's plenty of time for him to test the waters and see what works, and running for the House is a good place to start. As for his being too openly /ourguy/, it's important to remember that Trump's presidency was never intended to be the endgame. The overall goal is to gradually but steadily push the country further right the same way that the left has been gradually pushing us towards socialism. This guy seems like a good next step, the only question is whether or not it's too soon. My gut says 2024 might be a bit ambitious, it might be better to go with Pence or someone similar in the interim. It would also give Nehlen a chance to build up a solid support base within the Republican party, because as much fun as Trump's rise to power was I don't think it's something that can be easily replicated. The neocons have to be gradually either purged or won over, that's how this kind of stuff works. Again, you can look at the Democrats as a model; Obama was a good candidate for 2008 but he wouldn't have been able to win in 1992.

Also, I feel like it's worth mentioning that, assuming Trump wins a second term and whoever wins in 2024 gets two terms, the next election is 2032, which if I remember correctly is…rather a significant year, according to Vril anon.

That's why he's poison to the entire conservative movement. Drop him.

That's why I'm debating this. He IS someone we need to uncuck conservatives, but is it too much too early? If he does get elected, we know that liberals will use his views as ammo against the White House. Remember that it's been less than half a year since Charlottesville and a lot of Americans think we're the bad guys.

That's why I'm in favor of bringing him in slowly to test the waters. Running for the House is a good starting point, because we can see how much national attention the race gets, how people respond to it, whether or not he wins, and by what margin. It's not an all or nothing gambit like it would be with the presidency. If we can get a legitimate white nationalist into Congress it would be a huge step, and if he fails spectacularly we know it's too soon.

Too early? It's too late. At least he knows about the nose behind the curtain. Rather have a shitposter in the senate.
