>submitting your ideology to the botnet

Quiz is too short, questions aren't phrased to my liking, and there's obviously tons of ideologies missing. Not that I was expecting much from a quiz to begin with.

Am I the only one who has problems with the questions?
>State involvement is needed to protect citizens' interests
It fucking depends, doesn't it? You can't just abolish all state protections right here today and expect everything to go well or even stabalise in the long term. But if the rest of society is structured properly, for example with close-knit culturally homogeneous communities, the state won't have a whole lot of protecting of interests to do.

And for a few questions that I thought were clear-cut, I had to reverse my answer once I read the "pros"/"cons".
>technology is bad because muh guns
Wrong.
>"the betterment of society" is about poor people
Wrong.
>Individualism is what is opposing the tyranny of the majority
Etc.

Yeah, in most of the quises there is always a lot of question that aren't really specific so you just must guess what author thought.

>Women do not, but should, share the same rights as men

So if I disagree does it means that I think that women have equal rights already, or that they shouldn't have equal rights?

Not a bad quiz, but not a great one either. Could use 7 answer instead of 5 and definitely could use better phrasing.

>The betterment of society should be a primary goal of the members of said society

>Ask about welfare
I'm pretty sure there's more to "betterment of society" than just spoonfeeding free money to the poor. There's also the religious questions that like most quiz, seems to be unable to comprehend that other religion exist.

>Society should adhere to religious tenets

Hello sir, would you spend a minute to talk to our lord and saviour Satan?

Every time I take one of these quizzes I'm slightly dissatisfied, they never seem to ask deep enough questions, and I feel the questionnaire is too short to get an accurate reading. I basically agree with this, but basically all this proves is what I already know about myself: I'm vehemently opposed to Marxist ideology but I'm ambivalent about where exactly on the right wing I belong.

I feel like we should all pool our resources and knowledge at some point to create a really in-depth ideology quiz.

>Women do not, but should, share the same rights as men
-Con: The inherent differences between men and women mean that giving them equal rights would be like saying that oranges and apples have the same taste.

>People should be free to identify with any sexual orientation and/or gender they desire

>We should try to limit meat and/or dairy consumption as much as possible

>All these other questions demanding agrrement or disagreement without any proper context applied to them

Now there's a plan.

Proposed design:
Questions may be continually submitted to improve accuracy, each question goes through revision to remove ambiguity, and the scores for each ideology on the question must come with reasoned justification.

There are three activities:
1. Taking the quiz. Consists of grading statements until they run out. When completed you are presented with your deviations to the ideologies.
2. Reviewing/submitting questions. Each question has an attached ambiguity/score justification discussion, where you may make comments, revisions are done through [METHOD_UNSURE]. Each question lists the scores for all ideologies and their justification. When a question has a score and justification for all ideologies, and it has not been superseded by a revised question, it is automatically included in the questionaire.
3. Revise ideologies. Ideologies have a name, icon, and a list of so-called authorative sources that should be used to settle score justification discussions. There may be a need for an attached discussion about sources.

I like the idea of being able to see the explanation behind how your answers match up with the ideology and making a revision before the test is ultimately submitted, and the idea of making some questions lead to other questions.

>>97250
The types of questions being asked is another thing I kind of wanted to change a bit. I think instead of asking direct questions about beliefs, it would be better to pose hypothetical situations and ask the user what action they should take. After answering what you would do, there would be a follow-up question where you would explain your reasoning.

For instance you could have a question like "Imagine you have a teenage daughter who becomes pregnant. The father is black. She asks you what she should do, and she will do whatever you decide." You will have an option to either abort the baby or let it live. Whichever option you choose, there will be a follow up question where you justify your reasoning, where you can clarify why you chose to do what you did. I think questions like this would be a much better indicator of a person's beliefs than simply asking "Do you believe abortion is moral?"

>>97249
>Now, how to handle spam and grief? Accounts? Invite-based? IP-address-based reputation?
Technical issues like that can probably wait until we get the actual test designed. I will say though that I kind of like the idea of allowing users to register an account, so that they can take the test as many times as they want. Each time the test is taken the results are weighed against previous results, and the algorithm makes new assessments based on the cumulative total of responses.

Problem with question about hypothetical situations is that you demand specific answer. And it requires a lot of specifics about said situation to get proper answer.

>Does black father plans to take care of the kid?

>Is he normal working man or just some hood niggnog?
>What about rest of the family, what they think?

In normal quiz you can just choose that you're more in favour of one option or another and still a lot of questions aren't specific enough.

there's a limit to how specific you can get in a multiple choice test that's scored by a machine, sadly, so we'll probably never create an absolutely perfect test, but I think we can get close. I guess what I was going for is more that you would be forced to pick one out of two possibilities for your action, either abort or don't, and would have several options for reasoning; ie would you abort because of the father's race, because of concern for your daughter's future, because the kid would be better off not existing, etc; don't abort because of religion, because you believe in right to life, because you think your daughter should own her choices, etc. It would give at least a vague indication of what sorts of things the person taking the test values, and the responses from each question could be used to form a ranking of not only what the person generally believes, but which beliefs are most important to him. For instance, a person could be pro-life for religious reasons and also against racemixing, questions like this would help determine which one is more important to him. If he chooses to abort because of the father's race, then it indicates that his beliefs about purity of race are stronger than his belief in religious tenets. If he chooses to not abort because of right to life it indicates his faith is stronger than his ideals.

We could also include details in the hypothetical, and ask several different variants of the same question. For instance we could have one where like you said, the type of person the father is is indicated. Maybe in one version the father is a ghetto hood nigger, in the other one he's a relatively decent hard-working black man who plans to stick around and raise the kid. We can have as many answer options for each question as we feel is necessary too. I also think it's a good idea to have a much larger bank of questions than the length of the actual test. Maybe the test could be about 60 questions or so, randomly selected from a bank of several hundred. You would get different questions each time you take the test as well.

Our population overall does seem to be more or less in favor of both free market and national socialist systems, which don't really go together when you think about it. Maybe we're just a board full of people who want to take the best elements of each right-wing philosophy and combine them into something that works.

>>97597
Most left-wing ideologies are as made up as the genders of the people who subscribe to them. They're basically just theoretical ideas for social systems that have incubated partly in academia and partly on the internet, if you were to whittle the list of possible options down to ideologies that have an actual history of being practically applied in some way, it would eliminate most of the half-black anarcho-whatever flags.
