For the most part a college degree is getting to be an increasingly expensive investment with shrinking returns. Obviously most of the humanities and liberal arts crap is a waste of time and money. Law and medicine are generally safe bets however once you commit yourself to it you’re basically stuck in that profession so definitely make sure it’s something you want to do before getting into it. STEM is supposedly in high demand right now but they’re also difficult majors that not everyone is cut out for. I would say that if you’re thinking about going that direction, go to a community college first and go for a STEM lite degree, it will be much cheaper than a 4 year school and the credits can usually transfer if you decide you want more schooling.

If you don’t quite know what you want to do, definitely don’t just enroll in college as a placeholder; you’re better off just working or ideally learning a trade of some sort. If you do decide to go the college route, make sure you have a practical plan and research costs first.

Industrial Engineering. Its not the most personally lucrative (its still decent), but it enables companies and corporations the ability to make their operations more efficient, which in turn incentivizes those companies to grow to the point that they can supply more jobs. This is especially crucial in rural environments where the presence of a strong employer can make a local economy (or break, in absentia).

I currently have 2 degrees in IT and currently going back for 2 more. I have been in college for a LONG ass time but the bright side is I will be able to beat any poo in the loo when it comes to my knowledge and job security.

I the best advice for people going into IT is buy into networking, cloud, and Linux (Specifically Redhad/CentOS)those are the booming fields that will live for a VERY long time

One thing I've heard is that IT security is booming right now. If you don't know about it already you may want to look into it.

Not really. You have trouble finding work specifically in nuclear engineering, but since the degree you have is almost the same as mechanical engineering you'll be fine. For example, Ford hire nuclear engineers by the boatload, just to have them work on car designs. It has nothing to do with nuclear stuff, but you'll still have enough experience to do lots of other things.

It really is. I'm surprised no one out side of the private sector has found use for these people. The day a biology major figures out he can make more money by use genetically modified microbes to produce street drugs than he can working as a tech this country is going to see a new drug problem like never before.

Equestria isn't on earth.
Equestria is in your heart.
It is how you understand the world which makes you a good person.
And Equestria without good people is like a temple without the spirit of God.

Thst sounds cool. i was leaning towards neuroscience to better understand how the brain works. Maybe learn how degeneracy affects the brain on a neurological level or something. I dunno, probably cant make the wotld a better place doing it, but i can dream right. Maybe i should just work on becoming a bioterrorist and get a comfy high score

The kind of poz that would make it difficult to study the negative effects of degeneracy or the genes behind intelligence. If you are going to do bio or chem go the Chem E minor in bio route. Chemistry, biology, and biochemistry majors have a tough time finding jobs right now.

MIT and other universities have free open courses on their websites/YouTube channels and you can find all the genes, restriction enzymes, and equipment to modify bacteria online. (addgene.com NEB.com) Not much availibe online for viruses though so I don't know about your super AIDS.

Don't measure it by monitary value immediately received back, measure it by the skills garnered from pursuing such a degree. If society were to suddenly collapse or things were to become unstable, which one would; 1.Provide a wide array of tools for use in a variety of situations? 2. Would assist you greatly in an environment where money was scarce?

Yes, popular psychology is extremely useful, but not unless you have a personal connection at a relevant firm. I fucking graduated from Oxford with a Politics, Philosophy and Economics degree (which is basically the "Governing" degree in the UK) but because I'm American and didn't go into British politics, the best offers I got were in tech. And they only gave that to me cause "Oxford lmao". The Jewish banks only wanted fellow Jews. I ended up getting paid more and now work at a bank, but those kikes aren't interested in qualifications, they are interested in filling up their entire "white" quota with kikes so they don't seem racist.
Tl:dr humanities is great and teaches you about humanity, but make sure you intern and know people.

However, if you have the head for it, go into STEM. It is a resume of its own. I don't enjoy that and relished my time at Oxford, which pays off in the ability to redpill without getting fired and being excellent at improving human systems. But you need to know people and INTERN LIKE CRAZY in the country you want to live in.
