are there any fics or comics out there that depict the equestrian universe in a more medieval, less cartoony light? Pic somewhat related. I think it would be interesting if people expanded upon the already established lore. For example, how does the government work? are there occupied territories? conflicts between different nations? realistic violence/ struggles. Anything that puts a focus on world building or lore and less on the show's main characters would be great. thanks
