Please excuse the hyperbole, but being a plain old human has been dead for 20 years. At least in relation to all your heroes. If someone is world class at something, they are most likely using external drugs to achieve their accomplishments. Whether it's that athlete on steroids, or that businessman taking amphetamines, pretty much every field has been overtaken with drugs at the high level.

Athletes:
Open secret, you can't compete at the olympic level without doping. Olympics is merely scheduling so your drugs don't get caught by overtly easy tests to trick. How come no country ever gets busted for roids in the Olympics except for that one year where Russia put all their athletes on gear all of a sudden? All countries are all on gear, it was just for political reasons that the Olympics called Russia out. You think baseball's the only one who cares about doping? Hockey, basketball, swimming, modelling, movies, literally anywhere a body needs to be on point, steroids are getting them there.

Musicians/Actors:
Musicians use beta blockers to help perform. It alleviates stage fright and stress so that they can play like nobody's watching. Orchestra Musicians who don't use beta blockers don't get through the Auditions, because they can't compete with musicians on the beta blockers. They don't play as well, and they don't have the "X factor" worthy of a star as they look like a nervous wreck.According to musicians, in some backstage areas, they're passed around like chewing gum or mints. Backstage it's not uncommon to hear "Oh my God, does anybody have any Inderal?"

Business/Universities:
In high level business it's impossible to work as long, as hard and as focused as you need to. The answer is amphetamines. According to the University of Michigan scientists who conduct the nationwide Monitoring the Future study, “illicit drug use has been rising gradually among American college students since 2006, when 34 percent indicated that they used some illicit drug in the prior year; that rate was up to 39 percent by 2013.”

TL;DR, whether it's your favorite comedian, that game streamer with the inhuman reaction times and quick wit, that movie star with the bulging biceps or that insanely sly politician. Everyone is most probably abusing drugs at those levels, because they couldn't compete with the opposition if they weren't.

If you want to become world class at something you have to become more than human. Being a regular human is dead.

It's about to get a lot worse than drugs. Right now there are already tests being developed to identify gene doping in athletes (https://inchemistry.acs.org/content/inchemistry/en/atomic-news/rio-doping.html).

I always had an irrational wish to be top in the world at something. But now I realize that to do that I have to compete with drugs. It's a really hard choice I have to make, give up on my autistic dream, or put in hard work+drugs.

Normies don't care how you reached your level, they don't care about the time spent practicing or the doping done behind the door, they only care about the performance and the result/destination. They don't care about the honor of doing it clean. Just that you do it better than someone else…

This is why transhumanism is inevitable.

>And it seems to me perfectly in the cards that there will be within the next generation or so a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing . . . a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda, brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods.

The worst part of this? People do it of their own free will.

The red pill is uncomfortable, blue pill is comfy. To be free is difficult and takes personal effort and thought, to be a slave is easy, just follow along. A blue pilled slave is a valid option for some.
