In a political climate where almost anything is more important, one man decided in between his sips of soy "You know what, there's no way (((The Last Jewdi))) could have failed because it was a movie that shoved diversity down people's throats and ruined what could have been a compelling story. No, it was those damn Russians." So he bought some Soylent energy drinks, and drudged through tweets criticizing a bad movie and decided that 50% of people who didn't like it where Russians.

I frankly hope they remain this willfully ignorant and keep dumping money into shitty SJW movies that nobody will watch until every studio in Hollywood goes bankrupt and the film industry moves to Des Moines Iowa. There are enough old movies to watch and books to read to keep me occupied while I wait for the entertainment industry to die and be born again.

Yeah, whatever, don't give a fuck. Mainly now, I'm just saddened by the whole thing. Mark just comes off as such an incredibly genuine, fucking GOOD guy all around, it's fucking pathetic that he's been tossed away so offhandedly. All these years until his death he could have and was MORE than willing to play Luke in SOME form, even as voice over, almost completely wasted. I can see now they'll NEVER see sense nor backtrack on it & give people what they actually fucking want from it.
The fucking saddest part of all is they could have VERY fucking EASILY gotten exactly the kind of message they were trying to get across over with exactly the crowd that's made this franchise a golden goose for decades through Luke. It's practically the definition of his character core in many ways. All they had to do was respect him & listen to Mark fucking desperately trying to tell them they were fucking up royally.
They had an unprecedented opportunity to capitalize on 4 decades worth of buildup & anticipation with one of the most resonating franchises in film history, that's sunk DEEP into the popular consciousness on a scale & in a way very few other things have, and they made an unprecedented clusterfuck out of it.
