Yeah, so this is happening. I have not followed this election like I did to the last election. Mostly because it hasn't seemed intresting. The sewden democrats are a false opposition if I ever saw one so who cares if they become the largest party. There is no chance any other party with our ideas will not be able to gather the 4% of the votes that is need to be in the paralament. Yeah, it is very democratic like that you see.
I have felt, I might be wrong, that the intrest for the election has been low compared to previous years. I believe I have finally figured out a reason for why that is but i won't write it now.
I have thought about making a post were I include a timeline about Sweden's recent political events. Basicly just to show you guys the absurdity of our country.
Anyway, I thought it would be meaningful to include this our catalog. If you have any questions, just ask.

How will it be after the election? As I understand it there will be a far-left block and a center-block that neither have majority and neither agree on policy, and neither of those block will work with SD. So will there be any working government or policies made, or will the two blocks only agree that the borders have to be kept wide open and nothing else will be agreed upon.

It can probably get worse. The only thing that can happen that is positive is if SD becomes the biggest party and the other parties in the parliament has to work together. That is right-center-winged block and the left-winged block (Everyone in the parliament that is not SD) will work together, which they already have once during this mandate. This would be good because it would prove how they all are puppets. Well, it would prove it even more.
>>170075
>or will the two blocks only agree that the borders have to be kept wide open and nothing else will be agreed upon and nothing else will be agreed upon.
Yeah, something along the way. Here's what I imagine.

I think that the powers that control everything want the average news-following-joe-to-swed to take a liking to the idea of a merge... I mean party collaboration as it is so nicely called. They have a perfect excuse for that now. SD is nazis in disguise and due to our integrity, we cannot support any policy that they support or whatever.
Also, I would claim that the whole thing is a theater. Even SD's policies aren't that extreme compared to the Moderates and another party when it comes to the question of immigration. The only difference between different politicians is that some of the leftist ones are crazier than the others. They keep telling us how different they are. I don't buy it.
They want a one-state party for Sweden and we are supposed to get used to it.
That's what I believe anyway.

A one party state; how progressive of them. But sadly I think you are right. The labor party will force their will because if the other parties don't support them they will be "supporting SD". Then after a couple of elections a Muslim party will arise and get around 30% of the votes. Then the "one party" will have to decide, do they want to switch and support SD or agree that Sharia law is not a bad thing after all...

Would not surprise me at all. There is moral police in some areas of Oslo in Norway already, so would surprise me if they are not present in Sweden. They are so far only enforcing their will, and shartia law, on other Muslims so they sort of fly under the radar at the moment. But if a gay couple walks into one of these areas at night they could be subject to a mild form of Sharia; i.e. they get a beating and chased away instead of being thrown off rooftops.

Sweden-Nationalist-Swedish-Democrats-votes-1988-2018.png
>Panic Grips Swedish Establishment Facing an Election Beating
(Bloomberg) -- The birthplace of Ikea flat packs and Volvo cars is starting to look just as vulnerable to the populist movement as Italy, Hungary and the U.S.

>A bastion of welfare and equality, Sweden faces an election on Sunday that could be its most tumultuous in a century. As in other democracies across the world, the establishment is being challenged on multiple fronts. The long-dominant Social Democrats are headed for their worst result since general voting started in 1921. The biggest opposition party, the conservative Moderates, may see its backing cut to about half the electoral support it enjoyed at the start of this decade.

>For a country that prides itself on stability and is seen as a model for social democracy across the world, the development is hard to grasp. But voters are now flocking to a party that was born of Sweden’s neo-Nazi, white supremacist movement.

>The Sweden Democrats, whose stated goal is to rip their country out of the European Union, could win about 20 percent of the vote on Sept. 9. Fifteen years ago they weren’t even big enough to make it into the parliament. Meanwhile, the other end of the political spectrum is also poised to do well, with the former communist Left Party set to win almost 10 percent.

>Sweden is set to see a major political shift after national elections on Sunday, as the populist Sweden Democrats have a chance to become the largest party in the country.

>Sweden goes to the polls on Sunday to elect a new government, and the ruling Social Democrats, who have been the most dominant party in the country for decades, could not only lose power but, according to polls, possibly even lose their status as the largest party in the country.
...
>The eurosceptic, anti-mass migration Sweden Democrats (SD), led by Jimmie Åkesson, have seen a meteoric rise in the polls since the last national election in 2014, where they received 12.9 percent of the vote.

>Much of the support for the party has come following the 2015 migrant crisis, with many voters favouring its tough stance on mass migration. In a party leaders’ debate earlier this year, Mr Åkesson dominated his rivals on immigration and law and order issues, leading to viewers declaring him the victor in a post-debate poll.

>The SD have also put forward policies to crack down on organised crime, including proposing that the Swedish army should support the police in no-go zones where they, and other emergency services, have come under attack from residents.
...
>An average of recent polls shows that even with the support of the Greens, the Social Democrats would only have 29.4 percent of the vote, compared to the Alliance with 37.6 percent — but in either case neither would be able to form a majority coalition alone, which could afford the Sweden Democrats major influence in the legislative chamber.

The other interesting party is:

>The Moderate Party (Swedish: Moderata samlingspartiet, M: "Moderate Coalition Party", commonly referred to in Swedish as Moderaterna: "the Moderates") is a liberal-conservative[7][8][9][10] political party in Sweden. The party was founded in 1904 as the General Electoral League by a group of conservatives in the Swedish parliament. The party has had two other names during its history, namely The Right (Swedish: Högern, 1938–1952) and Right Wing Party (Swedish: Högerpartiet, 1952–1969).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moderate_Party

Which gets comparable vote percentages. Left is looking pretty screwed.

True, I hope Moderatana also gets relatively high number of votes. The sad thing is that it is only SD that wants to limit immigration as I have understood it. Moderatana might want to limit it a little but they are still open to have more or less open borders.
If I remember correctly Sweden have taken in 600.000 immigrants the past 5 years (I couldn't find the article right now). These 600.000 immigrant have arrived without Moderatana raising any questions whether this was a good idea.

Wish they were up-and-coming instead. A rule of politics should be: if you're going to be in power, you will get Jew'd.

Not that I'm knowledgeable about Swedish politics, but wouldn't it be easier to infiltrate and subvert the controlled op to /ourside/ rather than make a hardline party? Basically out-Jew the Jew. My logic with AfS is that if they ever get to appear powerful (unlikely imo) they'll just get Jew'd as well.

> So, what do you need to know about today's election, or elections? Voters are casting their ballots in three elections today: national, regional and local. Understandably, the national one tends to get the most attention.

>What's at stake? Well, 349 seats in Sweden's one-chamber parliament (riksdagen). Here's some trivia you can impress people with at parties (this is why I don't get invited to parties): Sweden used to have a 350-seat parliament. The election of 1973 saw the seats split between the left and the right-wing bloc, leading to MPs occasionally having to draw sticks every time both sides had the same number of 'yeas' or 'nays'.

>This was considered very impractical, and so it was changed to 349 MPs in 1976. But I digress.

>There are eight parties currently represented in Sweden's parliament. On the left, the two incumbents in Sweden's minority government: the Social Democrats and the Greens, who enjoy the informal support of the Left Party in parliament. On the right, the so-called 'Alliance': the Moderates, Centre Party, Liberals and the Christian Democrats. In their own little corner, the far-right, nationalist, anti-immigration, populist (what SHOULD we call them?) Sweden Democrats. We'll talk more about them, and the rest of the parties, later.

The whole world is fucked. "Democracy" is just a pretty word in this age, to retain a shred of dignity beneath the globalist corruption that is eating the West from the inside out.
Western countries are arguably more democratic than third world shitholes, but that's just a matter of comparison. When people try to claim the EU and U.S.A are beakons of democracy, what they really mean is "at least we're not some Afrikan dictatorship that has a violent coup every two years".
At the same time, nothing is perfect. The worst thing next to anarchy is government, and we can only try to make it a little bit better, no matter how rigged and unfair it may be.

>The rural-urban divide

>The Local's Malmö reporter Richard Orange visited the nearby town of Sjöbo earlier today, the anti-immigration stronghold where the Sweden Democrats hope to get a third of the vote in the local election.

">You can get upset about the party and you can say bad things about their supporters, but the Sweden Democrats are a result of bad politics in my opinion," one voter told him. "They way I see it SD is a protest party and they wouldn't have needed to exist if politics had been done in another way."

>The Sweden Democrats tend to have larger support in rural areas of Sweden, capitalizing on voters who often feel they have been left behind by an increasingly urban middle class. But many are still uneasy with the party's roots in neo-Nazi movements and dormant racism that still occasionally rears its head. More than a dozen prospective representatives have been crossed off the party's ballots in recent weeks for spreading neo-Nazi or anti-Semitic propaganda on social media, after it was reported by Swedish media.

>Paul O'Mahony, reporting from the Sweden Democrats' election night party, writes: "International interest in the performance of the Sweden Democrats is huge. Journalists from all over the world outnumber the party faithful here in the early stages. Everyone seems to expect a full-on party later since it's almost inevitable the party will record its best ever score."

>"There's a noticeably sizeable Norwegian contingent in place to document the neighbours' embrace of the far right (although the Norway-Bulgaria football match happening simultaneously is also generating interest.)"

I also saw it, and I am not sure. I think it is results from election areas where counting is completed. But these are small areas with few voters so they don't tell too much of the overall result.
As I understand it the 1/6004 is showing that the result that is shown is based on only 1 of 6004 election constituency that counting is completed.

Yes they do. There is four scenarios as I see it
1. Moderatana chooses to talk to SD and form a government with support from SD
2. Left and right block form some sort of agreement just to keep SD out of any sort of influence
3. Neither block gets enough votes to form a government and new elections is held
4. Moderatana or Socialists will rule on an minority government (with support initially from the other block)

Pim Fortuyn and Wilders both had the third-largest party at times, and here the other parties consistently choose to form a minority government. They keep saying true cooperation with (people like) Wilders is unnegotiable, but are willing to form an "acceptance agreement", to have minority government without full governmental paralysis.

The excluded third party has enough votes to stop the government from progressing the currentyear, but not enough power to repair any damage already happening.

Not worth it IMO.

Well, this thread blew up while I was gone. German anon and Norwegainanon really did a good job reporting on this event. They make me feel inadequate.
I will look through the thread later. If I find something I can give some insight on as a nurse in this mental asylum named Swedenistan.
Also, I can't believe that the social democrats are in the lead with such a margin. It is them, S, that has been the ruling party for the last mandate period and they have become known as the party who made the worst government for Sweden in, like, I don't even know. Even though I don't know Swedish political history very well I am tempted to say the worst rule of all Swedish history and now they are winning. WTF!
It would be more acceptable if people vote for the Moderates not because they are a solution. The reason it would be more acceptable is that they don't have the same track record of steering straight off the fucking road.
I guess the reason is that Sd have been getting the Moderates votes and the morons that vote S in the last election just does what they always have done. Muslim votes might also vote S but I don't think they have managed to do such a large impact yet.
Well, let's do a fucking recap of this niggers.
S broke six election pledges in the first half year. They had a recent security leak but then again we don't have a military so it really doesn't matter. When the time comes we will have to suck nato cock. That is when Putin decides that he will come and take over SwedenCan you hear my ironic voice but that is seriously what they believe here. Not because I actually want any military since both the military and the police replace their flag during the pride parade from the Swedish to the rainbow flag. Anyway, the list goes on S have done so many scandals in this Mandate period that it is almost like an achievement in itself.
Here is our current prime minister btw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pwhgQdJKIw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KP3HuQOqKS4
Anyway, I am happy that Sd is making progress. Even if they are controlled opposition people vore for what they think they are not what they are.

Yeah, that is good.
>If new elections are held because no government is formed I think and hope SD will get even more votes.
It is possible but I fear that it will have a little effect this time. This situation is nothing new. In eight years now have it been theoretically impossible for any government to form but that hasn't stopped it from happening. After the election of 2010 Sd could stop the liberal-block, aka Alliansen, M, KD, L, C, from building a government but they didn't. Why? Because they didn't want to cause disorder for the potential government by stopping their new laws to be implemented. They did this because they wanted to be taken as a serious party, they said. And this if anything should show you that they are controlled. They got into the parliament by their voters which means that they have to do what they want. Side note. you vote on a party. The amounts of votes that your party has determined what percentage of the parliament seats you will get. The party with a majority in the parliament can create a Government. But if you don't have the majority in the parliament, then no new laws can pass through the government. SD was in the position from the beginning that they could stop the government from doing anything unless they went through them or began to collaborate with the opposing block. They did nothing and have done nothing during the first years and seemingly nothing impressive at least during this four years. Only 2014 did they deny the current government. Then something called DÖ happened. Basically, the Moderates said, "Hey, why don't we collaborate with our supposed enemies". Dö broke up and I think that stalemate has been for like four years now and since no one is reporting on it is has become normalcy.

Yes it is a shame parties like SD does this. But Jimmy said he wanted influence this time. Worst case if SD chooses to support Moderatana is that the immigration will be lowered to a tolerable amount but still too much. I hope SD actually sets hard against hard and don't bend the knee.

It's rather funny that SD didn't get 20+%, for some reason people overestimated their gains this election. Anyway, this is still a great win for SD, I wish it would at least of been around 20% instead of its 17.6%.

Regardless, Sweden is fucked. People voted mostly on healthcare, education, and geriatric care but largely ignored immigration. Boomers voted on the left, be it Vänsterpartiet or Socialdemokraterna, to save their pensions and healthcare. Haha! Fucking retards. They missed the fact that immigration hollows out their precious services whilst increasing debt for future generations, which lowers their living standards. A vicious cycle is born from this desire of the boomers to force the government to give them gibs and to maintain a dying system.

A couple of things on the results. (fuck the captcha by the way)

What is being reported right now are the results of the PRELIMINARY count of votes cast, this count is done at the polling stations and then reported to be registered and summed elsewhere.
The actual, final, count will take place later, during next week. "Ahead-of-time votes" (förhandsröster) are not cast at polling stations, and as far as I know they wouldn't be counted there as part of the preliminary results.
Voting early has become increasingly popular, and we don't know if early voters will follow the trend we have seen so far. Election day votes could be disproportionately boomer votes, for example. "Shy nationalist voters" could disproportionately have voted early to avoid being seen voting for the wrong side in a crowded polling station.
The anomalously high number of invalid votes that 4/pol/ has been talking about could also be a mystery that is solved when the ballots are looked at again in the final count of votes. (Fake ballots being placed at some polling places? Misprint?)

>>170535
>"Others" have 1.4% combined
"Others" were projected to be what, 4.5% this year? AfS were also supposedly the largest party of "Others" by far. I know for a fact that AfS will be counted separately in the final count, as will FI, NMR (yes, really) MED and a whole bunch of meme parties nobody has heard of.
Going from >4% "Others" to 1.4% is unexpected to say the least. It COULD be that AfS are not included in that figure of 1.4%, and that we'll get some interesting results later on when the final count is being done.

A high number of invalid ballots?

At any stretch, I'm not reading this election as a massive gain for the nationalist right. A support around 18% after years of failed immigration and leftist politics is a tepid response from the voters. This election sort of sealed the deal for me that accelerationism is close to being the only legitimate response to combat the left. Give people what they want and they'll learn to hate it enough to abandon it.

2018: 24444

>Övriga anmälda partier (other registered parties)
2014: 57566
2018: 63635

That's still only 0.4% of the total votes cast, but an ~1100% increase in invalid votes from last election makes it look like it's something in that category that shouldn't be there.

Also, S and M are losing seats and SD is now officially a "main party", playing in the same league as they are with everyone else far behind. MP is almost cut in half. We are in a situation where traditional left or right coalitions just can't work, and where broad left-right coalitions will make SD the natural main opposition party whose political perspective will have to be considered in any news reporting.

It may not be a huge nationalist victory, but I don't think it's right calling it a defeat either.

>Nationalist defeat

It isn't really a defeat, it isn't a victory either; the result falls in between defeat and victory if we look only at the figures.

Swedish Democrats will face stiff opposition, as the third biggest party in parliament they can be safely ignored and blamed for much discord in the formation of a new government. When the government is formed they will be used for cheap political points and the retarded females and needy boomers will swig it down with glee.

>Invalid votes

There are several examples of the left tampering with the ballots of nationalist right parties. We need to wait and see if anyone digs up something more on this development.

>>170563

No, we have proportionality with a cutoff point (4%) to be eligible for seats in the parliament.

What, "it's your fault that we can't get along"? I don't really see that working, even with our electorate.

But yes, they could cause some trouble, sit on the sidelines while the others are squabbling and say things like "X proposal makes sense, we would have supported it and I don't see why Y party has a problem with it", while not having to actually compromise on anything since bringing SD into your coalition is taboo.
The other parties won't be able to keep a united front against them for long, they disagree on too many things.

Nooo-eee . . . there isn't. Sweden is a society of neurotic scared people who've been taught to lick the leftist vagene. The boomers enabled the dominance of the left by ensuring that their children wouldn't encounter the world with a set of morals beyond "me", "what can I get", "fuck tradition", and "no people". This was handed down to their children, of course. Any vying for political power was short when parties on the left gave utterance to their reality impaired goal of a society governed by the left.

Females being the largest voting group, generally voting for the left, ensure that Sweden will skip down the merry road of diversity under socialist rule. Supported by migrants they're basically unbeatable.

>>170566

We'll see. It worked so far blaming the nationalist right for whatever and warning people that caring for their people, to be nationalistic, or refusing replacement is wicked White nationalism and not basic survival instincts that most cultures dabble in. Even as figures showed that people want restricted immigration policies and some kind of cooperation with SD most parties refused to listen to the people, even when around 70% were in opposition.

SD can't survive as some vulgar version of Cassandra by pointing out facts, being ignored, and when shit hits the fan explain that if people would just cooperate with them things wouldn't be as bad.

Now we have to live under another four years of screeching leftists enabling another massive import of third worlders (At least 300,000 to 2021), higher taxes, worsening crime statistics, racism against natives, and asking themselves why society isn't improving.

S lost quite some votes in Sollefteå Kommun. Well fucking deserved. I don't get it. The females around the rest of the country who voted for them (S) are fucking retarded. S shut down a very important section (BB essentially the care for pregnant women). This has lead to a bunch of women giving births in their car to way to far away places to reach in time. And it's only a matter of time until it leads to deaths.

If this does not prove that women are nearly incapable of voting for logical things that actually
help them then I do not know what.

Same goes for women voting for MP. MP has very heavy ties with Islamist fundamentalists. Who have proven time and time again that they give no single fucks. Their own fucking "speaker" refused to admonish some muslim MP for not shaking a womans hand. But they will still vote for the party because muh trees. It's not as if they shut down another nuclear reactor, which funnily enough means we will have to import even more unclean energy. Good job retards.

Giving women voting rights was a mistake. They vote for whatever the fuck fancies them without giving any logical thought to it at all. And it drags the rest of the country down with them.

And when you confront these completely emotionally driven idiots. They shut down or spout some bullshit they read in a book. It's hilarious on the level of just being sad.

>From 1973 through 2008, nine surveys of women's rape fantasies have been published. They show that about four in 10 women admit having them (31 to 57 percent) with a median frequency of about once a month. Actual prevalence of rape fantasies is probably higher because women may not feel comfortable admitting them.
https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/all-about-sex/201001/womens-rape-fantasies-how-common-what-do-they-mean

It has been suggested that women are not as concerned by the fantasy of being raped as men might expect them to be. And this coupled with the maternal instinct might make them less anti-immigration than men. ( >>170416 ) And from Nature's perspective it has no nationalistic bias. It all depends on what kind of coalition or minority government gets into power.
According to the preliminary results the center-left and center-right blocks are almost perfectly balanced with about 40% of votes each, and with no clear winner things might get interesting.

But I agree with >>170577 there's nothing about the result per se that says policy will change significantly, nationalists are still a minority and don't have enough seats to make them the obvious coalition partner for the main center-left or center-right parties.

If you click "Valnatt" ("Election night") you get the tally they got then. The final count that is being conducted now is a more detailed count and can take some time before it is finished (waiting for all votes cast from abroad and such has arrived and is counted, and contested votes checked and tossed or included). But the end result should not deviate much from the election night result.

Exactly, the "real" count is what's going on now, including absentee ballots and votes cast ahead of the election. This count also separates out all parties including write-ins.
The one that's done on election night is usually pretty accurate but is more to get politicians something to work with and journalists something to report I guess.

50/6325 districts counted as of now, expect things to move quicker today.

Looked a bit at the district level of the area I'm familiar with, and it's mostly what you'd expect. These are the voting patterns that stood out to me:
In several rural areas SD are the largest party, or neck and neck with S. Support for SD is between 21-30%.
Well off suburbs/areas in towns leans pretty significantly Green (MP) - and Left (V), for some reason - and have very low SD support at 8-10%.
Immigrant heavy areas have lower turnout, leans heavily S, and have about average numbers for SD. SD did well in those places in 2014, the difference could be an effect of S encouraging immigrants to vote, and vote for them.

Little update on the Swedish election (sorry for shit translation)

>The red-green coalition get 144 seats, the Alliance gets 143, while Sverigedemokraterna (SD) gets 62 seats. Shows the preliminary election results when all votes are counted.

>This is a preliminary count and the final result comes first on Friday. At the same time that the last vote is now counted, a recount of all votes given in Sunday's election is also underway. This is done to check the numbers.

>There have been small margins under the count which started Wednesday by an estimated 190.000 votes released abroad and other advance votes. There has been linked great excitement to one mandate, which during the count on Wednesday tilted back and forth between the Center and Sverigedemokraterna. The center ended with 31 seats.

>Who will form a government is still in the blue. "The Bourgeois" (political right) believes they are the greatest and points out that Vänsterpartiet (the left party), who received 28 mandates, is not included in Prime Minister Stefan Löfvens coalition.
>"The Alliance is the governmental option that is clearly greater than Socialdemokraterna and clearly greater than the incumbent government," said Christian Democrats leader Ebba Busch Thor on Wednesday.

>The Alliance had invited Prime Minister Stefan Löfven and his Social Democrats to be the support party for a "Bourgeois government". Stefan Löfven rejected this blank out.

– "The bourgeois is only the greatest if one considers the Sverigedemokraterna (SD)", stated Löfven firmly.
>The Prime Minister recalls that Socialdemokraterna, Greens and Vänsterpartiet together have created eight budgets over the last four years.

>Löfven described it as "illegal and undemocratic" if the four bourgeois parties would form a government, even if they are smaller than the red Green alternative.

>Here are the results with the change from 2014 in parentheses:
>Socialdemokraterna: 28.3 percent (-2.8)-100 mandates (-13)
>Vänsterpartiet: 8 percent (+ 2.3) – 28 mandates (+ 7)
>Greens: 4.4 per cent (-2.5)-16 mandates (-9)
>Moderaterna: 19.8 per cent (-3.5)-70 mandates (-14)
>Centerpartiet: 8.6 percent (+ 2.5) – 31 mandates (+ 9)
>Christian Democrats: 6.3 percent (+ 1.8) – 22 mandates (+ 6)
>Liberalerna: 5.5 percent (+ 0.1) – 20 mandates (+ 1)
>Sverigedemokraterna: 17.5 percent (+ 4.7) – 62 mandates (+ 13)
>Other parties: 1.4 percent (no mandates)

From the sound of it the Marxists will try to go at it alone. But if they get enough votes in parliament (over 50%) in order to actually form a government is unsure. It the marxist manages to bitch and moan enough for this to happen the next hurdle they have is to get an budget approved in parliament (over 50% votes).
I am not sure if Sweden can do as some countries and have a "government" that can't pass any budgets and only the essentials of government is kept running (most of it because cucked), but no new laws are passed or anything.
But as I understand it if either of these fails, no government formed or a budget is voted down, there will be new elections in Sweden.
