A great man, yet a terrible commander. I wonder what would happen if he was a little bit more patient and better of a marshal, perhaps Hitler didn't have to handle all the front himself and would've won the war.

True, Germany did hold some of the blame, but if only he waited longer before going with the Axis. Or perhaps not open up more fronts in Africa and Greece. As most of the problem with the Italian army was that they were lacking in supplies, if they waited long enough they could've been a greater ally to the Axist or even as strong as Germany.
