This should have been done decades ago, the cost of stationing a military presence along the Mexican border works itself out with lower welfare exploitation, crime and smuggling operations in that region. With the smuggling, the CIA isn't going to be too happy about it since they get their black funds through smuggling guns and drugs across the border.
