Germany used to be the comfiest place to live. Then their incredible mental powers got to them and they started producing really weird philosophies through Hegel, Nietzsche, Stirner, and Marx. They never got over that and remain corrupted to this day.

This is merely a show of Germany's influential capability, that often times it can be at the center of the world. Also like America. Which may earn derision from Americans, however this entire thread is basically whataboutism. It detracts from the core issue.

This behaviour is rooted, not only in our past but also in our culture and genetical make up. Germans, compared to other nations are very orderly, perfectionists, dreamers. It isnt called the country of "Dichter und Denker" (Poets and thinkers) for nothing. Im not trying to imply that these are "superior" traits, or that other cultures are generally worse. What I think is that the german culture always leads towards not only strong leaders but also to extraordinary passionate followers. Sadly, this also ofcourse applies to following the "wrong" person and becoming blinded by ideology.
A little off topic, but watch "The rise and fall and rise and fall and rise of germany" on youtube. Its more about what happened, not necessarily the causes for it, but its still a very good and interesting video.
Right now, germany has risen, again to be a world power after the devestating defeat in world war 2. How it will fall again? Maybe the EU will break apart and pull germany down with it, maybe Merkel will finally burn it to the ground (seems like thats what she wants) or maybe WW3 is right around the corner. Whatever happens, I am very sure about one thing: the germans will always rise again. Always.

In all fairness the world is pretty boring when Germany isn't trying to destroy it. I like their spirit.
