I don't think it's that bad. The first movie is okay, a little boring. The second movie is genuinely a good movie and has great songs. The others are meh. I don't like the humanized art that much. They are substantially less sexy than the pony versions. But I don't hate it either

Watched the first one, hated it. Watched a few shorts that EQG people claimed were good, didn't like either. I won't touch it ever again.

I watched the first movie out of curiosity. I didn't hate it but I wouldn't say I loved it either. It started off kind of endearingly cute, like the shit where Twilight is trying to figure out how to walk on two legs. The story just gets bizarre from there though. It's like they took a stock script for a high school drama and tried to shoehorn in a bunch of shit about magic that would work in Equestria but is weird as fuck in this setting. Then at the end they give the villain her obligatory redemption and wrap it up with a moral about friendship because I'm pretty sure the writers get flogged if they forget to do that. I'm probably going to watch the rest of them at some point again just out of curiosity, but definitely nohooves < Pony.

Also, the song where they're all singing in the cafeteria is catchy as hell, I listen to it sometimes when I'm doing stuff.

Never watched it. Any and I mean any high school drama-ish show always raises a big "hell no" to anything and I refuse to watch it due to how cringe the genre is. Also the whole human anatomy in the series just looks... off. Applejack and Fluttershy are really the only normal looking characters and the rest just throws me off. Also its non canon so I haven't technically missed out on anything story wise.

Tbh I'd rather read a mlp fanfic than watch this. Not that I hate it or anything its just the whole high school drama genre is easily my least favorite genre in anything.

I suppose acknowledging you would die childless would be the only option and, given the extremely Volkish disposition of Equestrians, I don't see any of them being into that for the long haul.

I don't know, it seems like there's a lot about Equestria that operates by cartoon rules. One trope that I've seen recurring in cartoons is when you have two characters that are of different species getting married and having children, the children will often be depicted as being one species or the other rather than a freakish mixture of the two. Like the male children will be the species of the father and the female children will be the species of the mother. It seems like you could use this trope to justify headcanon where you marry a pony and all your sons come out humans and your daughters come out as fillies, or some similar arrangement. Just a thought.

Saw the first movie, I thought it gave the bad suck. Saw the second movie, it was infinitely better than the first. But just like season 3 sucking hard, once you fuck up so hard the only option is to go up. Third movie was meh and forgettable at best, great porn though

I like the movies, and Flash Sentry. I prefer Flash than Timber.

It's cliche, the plot is weird with the duplicate characters thing, it plays out like a fanfic. But the worst part of it are it's fans.

The first movie was mediocre/bad with some good music, the second was genuinely good all around, the third was okay, and I didn’t watch anything beyond that.

I love it, I only started watching it last year thanks to DWK's videos though. Before that I had no desire at all to watch it but now I really enjoy it, maybe even moreso than the main series now. It's just nice and fun. The first movie was super cliche but the whole franchise really improved after that.

I didn´t liked at first but right now, i really think is way better than the last 2 seasons (7 & 8 so far)

Movie 1 was moneygrubbing shit trying to steal the shit Monster High's gimmick while also being what MLP is.

Movie 2 redeemed the concept with Sunset going from shit idiot-plot villain to one of the most likable female leads of all time, it had pony-girls doing all kinds of extreme sports bullshit, I think this one also had the Sirens. Either that or the asshole school or both. It also fucked up by introducing human Twilight and making her a lesser version of the real one, who needs to become the real one. Boom, awesome Sunset is now constantly trying to pass the protagonist role on to someone who isn't ready for it, and Sunset can no longer make this spinoff her own thing with her own friends.

Movie 3 was meh, it tried to cash in on how popular Superheroes are now.

Haven't seen the shorts yet but I heard "Big" Jimbo REEEEEEEEE'd over popularity and got Hasbro to make a short where Sunset Shimmer goes back to Equestria... and she doesn't go talk to her old family or make up with Celestia, she instead suddenly meets Shitlight Gaylord and they go back to Equestria so Gaylord can steal the show and be shilled some more.
