How do I geotag? Do I need a smartphone or HQ camera to do geotagging?

I have 2-3 universities in my area where I could rlshitpost. I even know to find the more liberal departements in all of them. (is that the best place?)

I would think any phone will work as long as it's enabled.
Cameras don't have them by default, though you can always edit the metadata of the photo later, I think.
