In a series of threads we have had, this is about the (?) in the row. The following subject is accordingly the development, creation, and production of prior existing or to be original characters adopted/made by /mlpol/. Such topics entail the exploration of breathing life into the imaginative and bold. Only does conception takes a new form here, only here do we play as gods tinkering their subjects to a perfect image.

The reason why I'd say she is one of the best OC made here is because she seems to have a purpose which makes her a lot more interesting. That and she seems like the classic hard working earth pony. I'd imagine she'd even act a bit like Apple Jack but instead of being all about family she's all about keeping her community even those she might not entirely like, safe.

Although the Anons knew of the pony, they kept away and hidden out of fear and misunderstanding. Franziska is such an awesome character. The Mad Scientist archetype opens the door to so many interesting potential plotlines (slightly like Stewie, from Family Goy); and /mlp/ is unique in the way that it allows magic and "science" to mix in the same universe, without the fandom calling it bullshit.

I still don't really get what the T would mean as her cuty mark? What is her special talent? Aryanne is fighting for her people and Fireaxe is keeping people safe. I'd assume the Kek glyph would be meme magic but the T doesn't really mean much that I can think of. Same goes with a lot of the other ponies.

The backgrounds for our OCs need development. An idea for Leslie I have is that her parents were wealthy business ponies who hired private tutors for her, so she's smart, especially about things that interest her like history, business, and economics, but doesn't have much social abilities.

I could definitely simplify her design if need be. The concept needs some "tightening" anyways, but her design is easier because it uses a lot of circles. I like magical bolts to me. She came about after one of my friends requested that some artists ponify this recon vehicle, a Panzerspähwagen SdKfz 231. He's a real enthusiast, his grandfather was a Wermacht soldier, he joined the Bundewehr, and is tied to the NDP. Anyways, I wanted to draw a robot pony that day because I had some a nice design of one, so a "tank" was the perfect thing that came up happenstance. Another artist ponified her (yes her), and that was cool too. I had some ideas surrounding her; I already said some here; but I mostly thought of her a prototype that will later be innovative to the Pony Reich and warfare as the tank was in the Great War. Soon the battlefield will become a cyborg war.

Yeah and I've done a few. All in all I enjoy coloring in drawings and tracing atm. I just got a solid full time job, so I'm budgeting a pad so I don't have to use the phone for it. I'm not a fan of drawing or tracing with a mouse, and vectors are boring to do most of the time, but love the polished look it can give

I really like this scenario of a world with humans and ponies in it and the humans having technology. It has a lot of potential. For example, Leslie, being a successful businessmare, could buy and sell human technology to ponies.

I say that Hoo-mans shouldn't be essential parts of the official character backgrounds though, just for the sake of independent Equestrian headcanons (wouldn't want to limit their interactions with other OCs/Characters).

Speaking of design, I've seen some Octavia's recolors. I like the idea of Leslie wearing a bowtie sometimes, but for me Octavia's hairstale is not a good option for Leslie. She would also wear a Pinochet's hat or even uniform, as seen on my unfinished pic (I'm a lazy fuck, sorry). I changed her hairstyle a little as you can see. That's my proposal.

I had drawings of different designs before, but can't access them right now (mobilefagging.) My solution was make the mane and tell shorter with a few aesthetic differences all the while being different significatnly while keeping faithful to the old design.
I'm going to post these designs right now, because I want to. I've had this idea of a /vx/ mascot for months now (even before the inception of Vrilposting), but I didn't want to pass the opportunity of ponifying Vril in some silly (sick) sense. Right now, she doesn't have a name. "Nightfall" comes to mind, and that's best one for me. Her design is a pony with a dark, almost black coat, insanely long silver mane, constantly constricted pupils, and a wipe stripe on her face like Sgt Reckless or Epona. The mare is obviously a member of the Vril (probably not), but her interests don't end there. Pony loves her occult, ufos, conspiracies, otherworldly cults, and vidya. Especially vidya. It strains her eyes, and the constant research doesn't help. Did I mention the research? Oh no, I didn't. Such an odd, smart pony. A silly life. Ponies are silly.

Rundown is its star wars + grimdark and the factions are all nuanced so that they can try and sell everyone. Lore is solid to mixed at worse. Game itself is unbalanced as all hell but you only care if your using an army thats shit. Seriously though, save as often as humanly possible, and make sure the file is either on a USB stick, or synced to a cloud of some kind. If you go the stick route, then assuming you have a halfway decent Android, you can get yourself an OTG adapter, and just keep editing the file right from your phone, too.
You could also go with Gdocs, but >muh botnet
