What do you guys think this will do to the region? It's looking like they are going to actually vote for independence. Israel, Saudi Arabia, and India would all support an independent Kurdistan and if the U.S. decided to support them we would have an excuse to get involved in Iran.

Depends on what regions declare independence if the Kurd's play their cards right they could make an independent state in northern Iraq however I'm betting they are nothing more then a Jewish puppet to try and get the US to declare war on Iran so its likely the Syrian territories will declare independence as well leading to the SAA starting a northern push into Kurdish territory and in the end leading to the destruction of their state. The US is unlikely to intervene unless some "humanitarian disaster is brought before Trump by the Kushnigger yet again in which case all bets are off and WWIII is imminent. I doubt that will happen though and it'll likely just end up being Israel crying about Iran/Syria again.

Declaring war without a strong excuse usually leads to people hating you even more. Syria isn't fighting the Kurds now because they have bigger fish to fry and the Kurds aren't a huge threat in the end comparatively. When both sides finish fighting off the insurgents its likely they will demand the kurds reintegrate or they will wipe them out in which case they are justified because they gave them a chance to come home. I'd say Iraq would have to offer them a federal province though while Syria could just strong arm them back in.

But if they were to attack now it would cause a lot of problems diplomatically with the West which is especially bad for Iraq, not so much Syria. Worse case scenario would be the US would come in as a peace keeper and you know the drill from there. Syria is under Russian protection is it becomes a game of chicken in which I don't think Trump would even want to play since he's got his eye on the Norks.

However this situation is unlikely to begin with since a early attack would be against both Iraq and Syria's grand battle plans. ISIS then Rebels then Kurds. So I doubt it would even come to pass.

I tell you what. Things are not looking too bright for dirty monobrewed communists. Here are few thigns to read. One is a statement of Syria's Tiger Forces special batallion commander. Other thing is that Secretary of Iran's Security Council says Iran will end all of its military and security agreements with Kurdistan, if they separate from Iraq. Ongoing, there are laready bombings and general unrest in the area. If they will vote "yes" it will mean a joint invasion of Syria, Iran and Turkey. At last, the last proxy of the Great Satan in the Middle East will be no more.

That is exactly what I am worried about. Israel has stated that they would support an independent Kurdistan and I'm sure the Saudi's would too.
