Why are the Ottawa Police spreading lies about bicycles attacking horses and horses hating bicycles?
Horses love bicycles and bicycles love horses.
The reason a horse hurt Aunt Candy is because a cruel and callous man coerced the horse into doing it.
Bicycles and Horses are both allies of humanity and we can't let them turn riders against each other: the cyclists and equestrians need to remain united against evil.

what's heartbreaking about this is that even though the horse shattered her clavicle (collarbone) she initially just told her niece she had a "sore shoulder" so she wouldn't worry

Most officers have no idea how to handle horses and it's evident in nearly all videos of mounted officers. Usually they just abuse the horses, yanking hard on the bit causing the horses to end up ignoring the rider while foaming at the mouth from the pain. Standards for animal use by officers needs to be much much higher, including use of dogs.
