I just watch for this stuff to see when and how they get found out through their own incompetency. I suppose that's the result of living in not only a police state but also a surveillance state. I do not lurk as much as I used to on mlpol but I can not ever remember seeing any post worthy for a box 500 entry. It's not just the feds you should be worrying about on 8chan.
Many of the mods from different boards over at 8chan had prior relationships with mods from other boards. They would collect data on their users, and I do mean large quantities of data on their users.
Some of the 8chan mods even tried to DDOS 8chan and were able to exploit 8chan's scripts for their own benefit and spy on more users.
There are or at least were some very bad characters on 8chan and i'd personally recommend staying away from that website.

- Feds will encourage and gloryfy violence
- they are still pushing the Russian Collusion unironically
- they ask other posters to do work for them, directly or indrectly
- they complain about or deflect racism or antisebbidism
- they (accidentally?) leak insider knowledge of weapons or intelligence infrastructure

- they cant really banter
- they post little to no images, especially memes or chan related image macros

The webspace is shifting on a quick pace as it is. In a year from now archive.is might be history or censored. That said, the site has been blocked in NZ and maybe also in Australia during ChCh back in march. thats good in my book.
