I know the ip`s gets hashed but do the MODS know which company the IP originated from in Japan. Like most countries all traffic is actually through lent infrastructure. The infrastructure is pure NTT.
I am essentially being nosey and will respect if this request for information is ignored.

Short answer: No.
Long answer: The country is looked up in a locally stored ip2country database (MaxMind v1). Then the country name along with the hashed IP is stored in database. So the only information we have stored is the country name and the hashed IP. In other words we can't see ISP or any localization data except country name.

The code does include collection of personal data. How it would do that is in code that is imported. If I was to use this I would be experimenting on what imports are needed to run. As my understaning of code is tiny I would not touch this at all. I suggest only those people who fully understand what is written use it.
