Rarity is Porky, a /leftypol/ meme (basically their version of happy merchant). Done for her petty bourgeoisie behavior in several episodes.

Fluttershy is Rosa Luxemburg, a communist philosopher. She believed that revolution was possible peacefully and democratic, and that after a revolution, democracy should be kept around. It's that peacefulness which made me make Luxemburg Fluttershy.

Dash isn't even remotely Marxist; she's apolitical.
