As much as I want peace in Korea, there can be no security if nuclear capability is surrendered. The word of the United States is not something that can be trusted.

The thing is, so long as the north does not go on the offensive, the Chinks have their back. Also NK has a substantial army that can run at full steam for about 6 months. The USA will not risk a bloody war that will harm the global economy. Without the nukes, America loses reason for intervention.
