You will not find a more staunch defender of free speech than I, but the fact is that Poland already has a law against holocaust denial. This creates an uneven field in which it is illegal to downplay the holocaust, but legal to misattribute it. Ideally, there should be no holocaust-denial law at all, but considering there is, your new law just better protects the truth, especially against powerful Jewish interests (the so-called "Holocaust industry") that manipulate the narrative for victimhood status and legal/financial gain at the expense of vilifying the Polish people who have no analogous legal narratological protection.
